Brad Drake will be missed in many ways in our community. Brad also helped out with umpire of the youth baseball in Winnie. Thanks Brad for the outstanding job you have done in our community in the last 8 years. I hate to see you leave, but wish the best for you and your family. God Bless Ya!!!  ;D

EC was never behind and Newton never had the game won. If anybody was trying to give the game away it was EC handing Newton 14 points. 7 in the first half with snap going over punter into endzone and 7 in 2 half with EC having a chance to fall on a fumble but tried to pick up and missed, then Newton picked it up for about 70 yard TD. You must be thinking about a different game. Newton didn't give anything away.

Buna has a good team and has always played EC very close. EC bettter bring the hat on defence because Buna is going to run smash mouth football from tackle to tackle with Williams, or risk a lost in district. Hope to see a good clean game with no injury's.

The schedule for SETXsports show the date to be Friday Oct 28, but EC schedule show Thursday Oct 27. Does anyone know which one is correct and if we play on Thursday, Why?

It may come down to the last game of the season Buna and Woodville  if Woodville beats Anahuac. That is a big IF.

Give the coaches a chance to watch the film and hopefully they can see some things to impove. Anahuac has a good team. #23, #4 and #42 are some good players. The stats I was looking at was that they only throw the ball 15 times all year and completed 8 of them. When the sweep did not work they had nothing to go to. Good luck with the rest of the season. Hopefully some of the hurt players can come back and help with the rest of the season.
