  1. Eagle 82 all week I read how BH was going to do this and do that to BC but it's playoffs and a win is a win and a lose means go home. BC won and it was quality all the way!

All BH had to do was keep running the ball and BC would be sittin at home next week. That pass to the endzone on 4th and 2 was the most "questionable" call by the OC I've seen all year. BH has 3 RB that couldve rotated in and kept fresh legs in there to punch it on down that last 30 yards. There were about 10 Lamarque players on the BH side and to say they have size is an understatement. And its a know fact that they have speed. Good game Central and umm.....good luck next week.

  2. GP has a wr name Holloway' date=' good qb and running back. They also have a huge end number eighty eight that is not that fast but can catch the ball. They have a number seven that plays db and wr that can get down field pretty good and broke one on BH. On defense they have a kid number fifty six who plays dend that is very physical. GP does have problems with the run up the gut and sounds like you guys do exactly that which will cause them problems. GP also has a pretty good size right tackle that is going to Tulane that is very effective. Let me tell you when they played Bh last night if not for a lateral pass that the GP wr just sits there and looks at while a db from Bh returns it down to the three, a fourth and five fake and get inside Bh ten that gets call back, and a missed what twenty yard field goal? That game never gets to overtime with GH winning by about fifteen to twenty.[/quote']

You can "If" that game to death. There was alot if "If"s on the other side of the ball too. The bad snap off the QB's shin going in at GP's 15. The missed 2 pt conversion, There was a play called back by penalty.... yada yada... From what I hear Ned.'s def is not a very tight group. I say GP's QB beats Ned with his legs and his arm.

    GP 35 Ned 24

  3. A healthy Chris playing QB was much better than Pat' date=' Pat was fairly accurate but gave his ball too much air. Chris was the BEST runner i've seen at BH, not the most athletic but his vision and ability to break tackles was amazing. Way to injury prone though.[/quote']

Then If you and I were picking teams we would both be happy :)

  4. I will have to politely disagree on that...... Pat was rarely given the opportunity the play and when the unfortunate injury to chris occured, Pat took advantage of it. Pat turned out to be, in my oinion, far more accurate, and just as elusive runner, although maybe not as powerful as Chris. Both good in their own right, Pat didnt lead the area in passing yardage for no reason. If I were a coach I'd rather have one that could throw an accurate spiral over one that could run.

  5. The Kville game was a very close well played game by both teams. The only problem with it was that it ended on a feild goal that should have never been kicked. Kville had the long pass inside the 5 yard line that left 3 seconds on the clock. Clock stops to move chains. (in this case just the down marker inside the 5) Marker was set. Referees waited at very least 10 seconds for Kville to get to the line of scrimmage and get set before starting the clock. Then the spike, then the FG. Should've never happened. 3 seconds shouldve been run off before they were close to being set. Its one thing to lose to a good team, its another to lose on bad ref. calls. I know...I know.. the next post is going to tell me to get over it.... all that garbage talk, and thats ok. But I think alot of people that werent there, (and some that were) dont realize what happened there. Anyway, that was last year and it dont matter but it keeps getting brought up. Thought I was just inform and refresh some memories.

  6. Anyone have any Health updates on our players?

This is not official or written in stone, pretty much second hand info, but word is that T Patton will play fri. although with a hurting ankle, B. Patton, from what I hear, is out for a couple of weeks with that shoulder injury, A. Little's pulled quad is 100% healed, Havn't heard of anything else.

  7. Great job Eagles... BH Eagles that is. Whatever was said or adjustment made after NC's 1st drive was the right move. BH looked out of position and unenergetic or that 1st one. After that though....... A light came on and the real Defense came out. And I think the thing that most impressed me was that late in the game, their motors were still running wide open and not playing for the end of the game. I guess we can attribute that to the offense staying on the feild for long periods at a time. Great job again.

  8. I love to talk about this defensive unit. May be the most balanced unit I've ever seen. Cox and Swart, in my opinion, are the dominating factors. Noone can handle Swart inside this year. He at this point, as I've said before, is the def. MVP to this point. He may not get the notoriety of some others, but just watch him. He's in the top 3 in tackles and draws double teams alot. Opponents have to pay alot of attention to him and Cox. And speed! this D unit has speed that noone believes until they see it. Patton, Fisher, Little, and a coupe of others have 4.5 speed. I find that alot of other posters dont believe that...... just come watch. As for the HC promoting certain players.... I dont like going there, BUT, i guess I will. There is (as in many programs) politics and favoritism in the BH program. And we all know its not a huge headline secret that I say that so dont dive on me in future posts. haha. Well, I leave it at that. All I know is they are gettin' it done and look very good doing it. GO EAGLES!!! BH 31 - NC 7

  9. Once again, I think people that havnt seen BH are underestimating that defense. Theres is so much quickness and unreal power on that D-Line. Swart to this point is the Def. MVP leader... the kid is so strong 1 O-Lineman cannot handle him. The speed and athleticism on the outside is very deceptive and under rated. Do I think BH will shut Crosby out like all the other wins? No... they have good football players too. But BH's offense is starting to click really well, better than good enough to win. Special teams? BH KO and punt teams have a nose for the ball and lay the hits on when they get there. Of the 6 TD's scored against BH this year, 5 were in the 4th quarter when fatigue was a factor and reserve players were getting valuable playing time. 1 Bellville TD was scored late in the 3rd. And that drive was the only defensive series that I can remember that BH looked "out of position" on a few plays (I think a couple of penalties in there too). my prediction? Crosby may be a good team, but gotta go with what I know...and that swarming defense... BH 24 Crosby 7

  10. Like I've always taught my son, prepare and play every team like they are the best in the land. No Surprises. I dont know alot about FB either other than they havnt won many games thus far. And their speed & athletisism.... .BH has that too. People dont believe the speed part until they play BH. Defense is great. S. Rainey will be back on the O-Line, so that instantly gets a little better. If the offense builds off the Bellville game and gets even better, BH should be 1-0 in dist. BH-35 FB-7
