Meant to say..... Some of the teams in the other Pools seemed to under perform. Dayton made a good showing. Porter underperformed with the Rhea twins Aldine Davis had a poor showing so some good teams looked as if the played poorly

So why does that make Pool B interesting. Looks like some of the teams in the other Pools were not as Strong as others

Fix wasn't as bad as when you go to Nederland to play...

If my memory is correct (at my age you never know) ...... There is a cost to play on the UA teams if selected. Was something like $4000 ..... just like all the baseball factories...... Pay to attend

As far as the officiating goes ........ Seems that the local teams benefit the most. Went to several games this weekend in the various tourneys being held. Local officials don't want to upset local coachs for fear of being scratched....... unfortunately for teams outside of the area it affects them. It is what it is!!!!!!!!

i know several assistant coaches that make more than half the coaches on that list...... granted they have coached for 25-30 years

There a some districts that pay more than BH and Deer Park for beginning teachers.... but if you look at the 15-20-25-30 year salaries then BH pays more. If I am a teacher I am hoping to get that average up as High as I can before I retire. Trust me.....the Texas Teacher Retirement system sucks!!!!!!!!!!! Along with the Insurance the State offers Teachers......
