RIP....You knew i would come in on this one...Way to Juicy! First I will say Congrats to all the Super Gold Girls!  Very Deserving to each and every one of you!  And a very special Congrats to Natalie on the MVP!  Natalie...you have been a very special soccer player to watch..for the Indians as well as Spindletop Select!  As far as the Kelly vs. PNG debate ( which seems to always come up).... I will give my honest opinion:  Two years ago...when Chloe and Natalie were Juniors.. We loss 3-1 in the first game of the Kelly Tournament and then 1-0 at Indian Stadium in Early February!  I would never take anything from a great Kelly squad or program....ever! First Class and proud how they have represented our area! Lets not forget  though that when the Lady Indians loss 3-1; it was their first game of the year compared to Kelly's Mid-Season!  As far as the 1-0 game in February...(In which I thought Kelly played one of the best Defensive games i have seen) It was still early in the Indians Season and Late in the Kelly Bulldog Season.  AND....lets not forget that year...Natalie was not even back on the field; due to her ACL & MCL tear!  So Kelly did not get the Indians at full strength.  The following year...(this year)...Chloe had several nagging injuries and illnesses and never got back on the field full strength until late March.  As far as Aimee not playing Kelly when the opportunities came up?  I would say she was looking forward to the bigger picture of the 4A playoffs rather than the debate of which area team is better?  And again, if she would have played Kelly...it would have been without Chloe this time.  I would never take anything away from Kelly and the year they had this year!  Proud of them and this Indian will pull for them always!  But......I wish PNG and Kelly would have had the opportunity to play each other when both were at full strength......Just saying....? 

Congrats FF...on a great year again!  Looks like yalll were young this year...and will be very strong next year.  Says a ton about the Friendswood program to battle for the Regional Championship with mainly Juniors and Sophmores.  Would love to hear your opinion on how the game was settled....1-0 sounds like a very close game?

FF...I would have rested my starters as well.  After watching the "waves" of players Midway sent in against PNG...Friendswood will need to have fresh legs!  Now I am no expert in this rivalry....and nor have I seen Friendswood this year....so for me to make a prediction is tough!  I am going to plead the 5th and make no comment!  Good luck Friendswood and hope yall get your revenge...

I could not be prouder for a group of young ladies as I am today!  They had an incredible year with many adversities and still came together in the playoffs to reach round 4 for the first time in their history.  To the Seniors...Good luck in whatever the future may hold for you....As far as Coach Bates, thanks for all you do to make our girls the soccer players they have become and most of all your interest in their well being as young women and students.

FF...thanks for the tip about Midway!  As far as WASONE3...not sure who you are talking too....but you sound as if the team you pull for may be out of the playoffs!  If so, there is no reason to state that someone's opinion is an ignorant comment.  If you are big enough to come out and state you are tired of someones comments; then be big enough to state who you are backing....are just stay out of this post!

PNG's Keeper Lauren Lovejoy has had a stellar year and she is only a sophmore!  PNG is now in the fourth round of the playoffs and her performance last night against Brenham was amazing.  The pressure on a keeper in a shootout is enough! But against Brenham in the third round of the playoffs....thats another whole story!  She totally was in command and the Brenham shooters had no answer!  Great job Lauren!  Not only for last night but for a great year!  Midway next!  BELIEVE...

Thanks Brenham Fan!  I can honestly say that if this team is losing only two seniors; they will be one of the teams to beat next year!  They Played hard till the end and never quit!  I will say that this was one of the most amazing games to witness and enjoy as a SoccerFan and Soccer Dad!  After losing the last two years to Brenham...I was proud to watch how these girls battle in the Shootout and how excited they were to finally get past a very talented Brenham team and program!  Congrats Lady Indians on a job well done!  Midway next!  BELIEVE....

FF Fan..Great points!  and as always they are respected!  I think it will be a great soccer game for the fans and hopefully this is the year the Lady Indians "kick the door in"!  Good luck to Friendswood ...and although in your eyes its a longshot for us to meet....VCU is still fighting in the Big Dance..and they are a small longshot to say the least! haha! you never know...especially in soccer!

You BrenhamFan...are a true soccer fan with a big heart for your school!  I to have been able to witness the last two years of defeats in the third round to Brenham.  My daughter was a sophmore on the team that loss 4-0 two years ago; and a Junior last year when they loss in double overtime in one of the best soccer games I have seen.  With that being said; I feel this game will be a "battle" ..PNG is Senior Heavy this year with many juniors and sophmores providing incredible support both offensivley and defensivley.  Brenham is Brenham! and they will bring their best as they always do!  I cant wait for tomorrow night.....Will you be attending?

PNG put together one of the most impressive games I have seen in a long time Tuesday against Willis both offensively and defensively!  It will take another great effort to beat Brenham, but I am going with the Lady Indians (of course)!  This team is senior heavy and most have been part of the last two losses to Brenham.  I believe those are still fresh in their minds... Go Lady Indians!

PNG Lady Indians definitely brought their "A" game tonight!  Congrats girls on a great win!  One game at a time...

Tinker21..PNG brought their best tonight for Willis!  3-0 in a dominating fashion.  PNG Lady Indians are finally healthy and will give Brenham all they can handle....Cant Wait!

Thought Goose Creek would pull this one out!
