First Congrats to both teams and the girls for great seasons!!!  PNG/Nederland are two incredible programs and only getting better!  PNG wins 4-0 and claims their first outright district title!  Congrats to Coach Bates and all the girls! Yall looked incredible tonight and it was the performance we Indian fans have become use to this year!  When the stakes are high...all of yall perform at a level that is something to watch!  Go Indians!!!

I agree..No one has posted a comparison between Lumberton and Brenham...And i do not know enough about Brenham to make a comment...but as far as PNG/Lumberton...All we can do is say the two teams battled to a 1-0 Win by PNG @ Lumberton...and if they play again I would expect another great game...

Glad you enjoyed it Friendswood!  I did as well....we may not be the caliber of the powerhouses you have been speaking about...but i do think PNG and Nederland are talented enough to compete against anyone in the state...and as always in sports..you never know and thats why you play the game!  Hope you come down on Tuesday to the Reservation to see another great game!

Yes they did and I have already posted what a great game it was and congrats to Nederland!  I believe Lumberton split with Nederland also?  They are a very talented team as well as Lumberton as well as PNG...Thats why you play the game.! Im sure Tuesday night will be another great display of soccer....Lumberton will get their chance in the playoffs and Im sure that will be a great game as well...

No excuses here...Nederland won the game..but what actually happened  is the sideline ref called in inadvertent call and had pulled his flag down once he realized there was no offsides...and let the play continue...I believe that the Referree in the Mid-field probably blew the whistle to stop the play before the score although the sideline ref withdrew his call....thats sports

No name calling in this forum..Not what it is about...shots on goal were PNG 19 Lumberton 12.. and I agree was a great game...all i was stating was that PNG was getting no credit for a great year....and I agree a re-match between the two would be fun to watch...sorry u have to use intials as a call name!

What an incredible display of soccer and talent by both teams tonight!! that was classic Indian - Bulldog rivalry at its best! Congrats to Nederland on the win and looking forward to Monday or Tuesday! I'm an Indian fan and father to one of the girls!  This game had it all including a game winning shot by Natilie Hagar in the first overtime with no time left on the clock that was called off by the mid-field referree...very questionable but making no excuses...Nederland came back and scored in the first minute of second overtime and helod on to win the game! Congrats to the bulldogs and cant wait to watch this one again!

Should be an incredible game...but would think PNG has the edge if they play their game.  Both teams should do well in the playoffs and make the area proud.

Loss 2-1 to North Lamar Paris and Mount Pleasant....both very close games....both teams have won their districts....

I'm new to this site...but after reading all the past posts...FRIENDSWOOD.... i would think you should worry about your own team and 'not the INDIANS...you sound very sour as if this years team is not near the team ya'll were last year....I will be glad to post our Biggest Wins as well as our losses:

Beat: Cedar Hill (5A School) 3-0 (this was the championship game of 16 team tournament which included Ned,Lumberton, Baytown GC to name a few)

        Lindale 1-0 (Longview Tournament)  Only 2 losses came to North Lamar and Mount Pleasant 2-1 in both games>>>both won their districts!!!

        Westbrook ISD ( Beat twice and tied once) 5A School

        Lumberton (1-0 in Lumberton)

        Nederland (2-0 in Port Neches)

Chloe and Natilie are both Sophmores....what's scary is that there are 5 more sophmores on the team and one freshman....this team has a great mix of jrs and seniors leading the way with some younger talent on the offensive

PNG Girls "D" is incredible....even though we have the best goalie in the area....to get to her is a chore....Coach Bates has always had one of the best defensive teams in the area and this year it shows....

2-0 or 1-0 a win is a win and it was in Lumberton....my mistake...Had more shots on goal and dominated the game!

I vote for BM at PNG!  Shutout Cedar Hill, Lumberton, Nederland, and Lindale to name a few...PNG on has 2 losses on the year which came from the Longview Tournament in two very close matches...

Not sure PNG girls are getting any respect on this site....Currently 17-2-1 on the year and beat Lumberton 2-0 in Lumberton and also have beaten a very talented Nederland team.  They won their own tournament with teams such as Cedar Hill, Baytown Goose Creek, Nederland and Lumberton to name a few...Very talented group!  Brenham girls record looks impressive and Lumberton girls have a ton of talent, but think PNG needs to be in the same hat
