  1. Hes From Batson and his wife Teaches at WH i think so it will be getting closer to home and I think he will be making more money. Lumberton pays very poorly.
  2. they got a good one if he did go there. he really knows his stuff
  3. TJ Light wasnt a real RB. he was brought in on short yardage as a blocker are for a short run but he is probably the best player in Lumberton history. From what ive heard about Herrod is that he was probably the best. Their is also Pee Wee Langham, If Babin would have gotten more carries then I would say he would challange for the top spot. The one game he got any carries at all was Ozen (10 carries for 200+) yards. from what I heard Tal Light was a beast too.
  4. he probably didnt, I just think that when Tate was on he had better "stuff" like when he had 14 strikeouts against Jasper as a Jr and beat Girdly. His ball had alot of movement on it.
  5. 643 I promise you there was a Texas/NM all star game that Mitchell was named too. I just talked to him to make sure I remebered correctly and he confirmed that it was played at Baylor University and he pitched 2 innings allowing 0 runs
  6. I actually think Tate was more dominant then Mitchell was but he just had a horrible work ethic, he ended up getting drafted late in the draft by the white sox went to panola had alot of issues there and end up quiting. But its more of a toss up between Tate, Mitchell and Bucholtz in highschool. I know Tal Light was a heck of a player but not sure if he pitched. I would say maybe Bucholtz would get the nod because the teams he played on just werent that good but when he pitched they won. dont get me wrong they had a few players like Odem but that team really lack talent. And there is a Juco all-star game I remeber reading the article about Mitchell playing in the game when he was at Galveston.
  7. they were 0-7 the year before and didnt have hardly any starters. So 4-6 was a big improvement
  8. Mitchell Started for 4 years and pitched for 3, Tate was a 3 year starter not 4. Clay started for 4 years and pitched for 3. I would say Clay was as good if not better than they were because Tate and Mitchell had better teams around them and didnt have to carry as much as Bucholtz did.
  9. I think in baseball you can b/c they dont give out full scholarships most of the time
  10. still not alot of pitching around there
  11. beard is 6' 205 maybe heavier
  12. Hussey was out against Nederland with a Concussion
  13. lol no disrespect but check LCMs stats from last year... they dont throw the ball
  14. most people who say he is a great coach has played for him and been around him
  15. Ltownbaseball9, Take a class in long division 1500/100= 150. 1500 yards in a run first, pass second offsense isnt to bad. plus he did lead the district. :D :D :D :D :D How many spring drills or summer workouts have you watched. Are you a coach or did you even play football? It sure doesnt seem like it. Sorry for getting personal but I hate to see when someone comes on this website and not talk football but typecast a entire program of hard working kids who are doing their best to be competitive.
  16. 1500 yards isn't nothing that is like 120 yards a game thats horrible when you play 10 games in a season???? hahaha nice math buddy
  17. im just telling you what he ran at a combine earlier in the year. he might have went somewhere else and ran a better time but ussually rivals will just take the time the recruit gives them or if the recruit ran at a rivals combine then the recruit can have that time put on there if he wants but im pretty sure the combine he went to wasnt a rivals combine.
  18. Daytons the top dog so yall get everyones attention
  19. Johnson went to a combine and his stats were 6'2 220 something and ran 4.8 they said hes very athletic
  20. the deal is the Lumberton people need to stay off the boards and just wait for the season. There is way to much talking going on.
  21. Nederland and Central werent always like that. Nederland for sure wasnt like that. I used to work with a guy who played on those teams. Lumberton is gonna be better this year thats gonna be a fact now how good they are isnt a sure thing until u get the pads on so we'll see.
  22. why would u do 7 on 7 then? if yall are thinking about spreading it out more then it could benefit yall to run yalls offense which would help with yalls timing.
