  2. Hull-Daisetta - 7 seniors - 3 two-way starters ; 1 offensive starter
  3. Just looking for a meet the week of March 12 - March 17. Any info appreciated.
  4. I need this last track meet to complete my schedule. Please post on here if you are having one or know of one this week.
  5. Isn't A&M ranked higher than Texas in men's and women's bball?
  6. That should be the standard for any job. If you do not perform to your job specifications, you should be terminated.
  7. Good post Mosley.
  8. To all of you bashing the coaches: (with apologies to Jack): Unless you're willing to put down your laptop, pen, etc. and pick up a whistle and stand post on the sidelines, these coaches don't care what you think about their play calling. It is your right to gripe, but if you are so smart, join the coaching profession so we can see your true genius.
  9. We can't always blame kids not going D1 on the coaches. When I was at SFA and people were looking at E.A., they kept telling us that a certain RB from Nederland just wasn't fast enough, even for 1AA. D1 is so competetive sometimes the college scouts only go by numbers.
  10. Coaches are human. I do not know anything about the situation, so I can not comment on why he did not make it. I do know that anyone who is upset can complain or they can change the situation. BECOME A COACH. We need more quality teachers and coaches.
  11. Two sides of a coin. If coaches do not agree, they flip a coin. Some of you on here probably still think that the Oklahoma city bombing was a cover-uo, it wasn't the planes that brought down the WTC's and Oswald was totally innocent. CONSPIRACY THEORISTS GO HOME!
  12. Good point about losing the quality assistants. Look at how improved WOS was once Coach Thompson returned. Not that they were ever considered BAD.
  13. Corps. Just messing with you. Tell Mr. Haynes that I expected better out of one of his students.
  14. I know it is not football; but did anyone else see the documentary yesterday? Very powerful!
  15. I don't know how they do the tibreaker in their district. Some districts limit the points to between 14 an 28. Breakdown: if Colmesneil beats West Sabine, then colm., w.s., and burk. will have identical records. Colmesneil = -20 Burk = -17 West Sabine = +37 So if no limit on points: colm. must beat W.S. by 29 If it is limited to 28: Colm. would have to win by 24. if the limit is less than 20, Colm just needs to win by the limit and then it comes to a coin flip. All that said, I believe West Sabine wins.
  16. It is just an opinion poll, like all polls including the ap, espn, and bs poll. I personally would put west brook #1, and probably memorial #2. I just think that these two would beat any of the others. WOS def. #3.
  17. Kountze in 1973 was undefeatead district champs in football, basketball, baseball, girls volleyball and girls basketball. (if memory serves me correctly)
  18. IF SABINE PASS BEATS HIGH ISLAND THIS WEEK, THEN THE THIRD PLACE TEAM WILL BE DECIDED NEXT WEEK WHEN SABINE PASS PLAYS EVADALE.
  19. We have to get by Groveton or Colmesneil before we worry about Alto. However, WH is our only focus this week.
  20. Port Arthur does have a lot of talent. So does just about every 5a school. A large percentage of success (wins and losses) is due to discipline, dedication and hard work.
  21. Have to take the student over the teacher in this one.
  22. I see the district(not that my predictions ever come true) finishing with West Brook 7 - 0 Humble 5 - 2 Kingwood 5 - 2 Port Arthur 4 - 3 Lee 4 - 3 Memorial gets 4th spot due to head up meeting.
  23. All schools are offered the chance to put stats on this site. Some COACHES choose not to take advantage of this service. You have to register as a coach with the school in order to enter your stats.
  24. The correct stats for Hull-Daisetta can be found at thsca.com and on maxpreps.com. Tyree - 76/469 yards 9 td's Cook - 71/400 yards 3 td's F. Smith - 29 catches/ 612 yards 5 td's
  25. Coach Thib. at Sabine Pass told me that the game would start at 12:00 Saturday.
