Everyone has the right to express their opinions. Here is mine: I had a parent say to me last night after our girls lost in the playoffs, "we got outcoached". I will be the first to admit this happens sometimes at all levels. However, I just told the parent that our coach did not miss 12 free throws nor any lay ups! College is there for everyone. If some of the experts from the stands are so good, then they should get a teaching certificate and pick up a whistle. Again, this is just my opinion. So, if there is a problem, go to the coach, then Coach Cruise, then the principal, then the super., then the board. Or, go get an education degree and become a coach and fix the problem yourself.

I know it is a good school. Dr. myers is a good man but this doesn't seem like his decision on the finalist. I could be wrong because I haven't talked to him. I just know that the situation is not playing out very positively.

I'll start out by saying that I enjoyed my time at Bridge City. I would still be living there if I would not have been offered a coordinator job. However, these last few years have made BC look bad. First they non-renew Claude and Terry, now all of this with trying to replace CT.

I disagree that it is a good thing. I believe that know person or school district should hold it against an employee for trying to improve their lot in life. I do know that it happens. However, it is just as bad if there is speculation at a school and the information is not being confirmed. Most schools would rather you just admit when you have applied. The principal and super. should know every time a coach applies somewhere else because they will be getting a call for references.

When can we expect the list?

what is the scenerio for the playoffs. Who has the easy track to 2nd place? Is first place still up for grabs?

Our district finishes next Friday so they will only have 2 more games in district after tonight. They could both still play two more games before the playoffs.

Hey Coop, can't the media get the list under the freedom of info. act? I have always seen that as the excuse when other schools release the names of applicants.

I am going out on a limb and saying no. Odds are that I am correct because there will be 96 total teams in the playoffs. Flawed logic I know, but the last 5 minutes of class.
