Been getting tickets the last 3 years, then selling them. ;)
you over-charge ::) ;D
Scalp 'em, AAW, Scalp 'em! ;D

The Nederland side very well may already be close to sold out. Season ticket holders get first crack at the tickets and they typically snatch most of those up every year. Your best bet is to hit up a season ticket holder for one of the teams or try and get GA tickets for the PN-G side since we'll probably have more available for however short a time because of the larger home side. Either way, it's not going to be easy.

You don't get many chances to build a fire around here, and when you do, there's typically plenty of firewood left behind by a hurricane. ;D -

I'm not sure whether to take that as an insult or a compliment. ;D
Ya, can you believe that? Brenham placed a perminant franchise tag on me years ago, so that's out of the question. Why would we want to be traded to a fan base of a far less successful team anyways? I know I'm doing just fine at being a fan of my alma-mater here in icecreamland and the Tribe's fan base is known nationwide. The guys he listed our big parts of their fan bases. Yes, this includes the Smoking Baby and Raidernaytion as well. Our fan bases don't attack other fans of our school, and our knowledge of the game is pretty high as well. Now to answer the thread topic.... Vidor won't get past the second round. They could possibly get Dayton in round 1 and/or get Brenham in round 2. Good luck with that!
Yeah, I guess we're glued to our schools. We're lucky that's not a bad thing in our cases. Speaking of IceCreamLand, some friends and I drove through downtown Brenham to get on 105 from 290 about a week ago on our way back from Austin. Nice place, but I've gotta say, I halfway expected to see ice cream trucks playing the little carnival songs all over town. ;D -

(Maybe 8-2)
That's about what I'm thinking.
What you thinking on Brenham's season?
Honestly, I don't know enough about Brenham's team at present to make an accurate prediction. If history's any indicator though, there's probably no shortage of talent and Coach West will, as always, have a well prepared team. I would think 8-2 at the very worst, but that's a preliminary prediction. -

2012 Port Neches-Groves Team Preview

Yeah, and Coach Faircloth's first year here was going to be a "rebuilding" year.... ::) -
Larry Neumann is obviously the favorite. He took two crap seasons that would have left most other coaches at home in November and turned them into playoff seasons. He didn't do well in the playoffs, but it was a miracle that the Bulldogs were there to begin with. Throw in a long string of playoff appearances and some genuine success and I think you have a winner based on consistency and performance. Faircloth, Harrison and Thompson all deserve nods. Harrison and Faircloth both walked into programs that were on the decline and completely turned them around. The Indians have yet to place lower than district runner-up since Faircloth has been here and went undefeated in his first season as a head coach. The Titans have finally become the force to be reckoned with that they were expected to be when Memorial was founded and are coming of a stellar season. Thompson comes across to me as the brains behind the Dan Hooks operation and he has certainly kept that program in ship shape since Hooks retired.

I haven't seen a copy myself yet, but a friend posted on Facebook that DCTF gives its breakdown on the Port Neches-Groves "Panthers." If so, that's a pretty egregious error (especially since PN-G opened its 2010 season by setting the attendance record at the DCTF Classic in the Alamodome) and a great way to leave about 10,000 copies sitting on Southeast Texas shelves. -

Time will tell how Vidor will do. Our district championship year, 2010, you took a loss on the chin to us. Had it been at the Butch, you'd have been taken to the woodshed. You played a weak Central team in 2011. Second of all, you're tax dollars will NOT be missed. Maybe Vidor can better utilize them. Seems like they need it more . Because a know a lot of Vidorians that dont like how VISD is ran. Smh. Vidor has 1 good season and now fans can say 'we havnt lost a game there yet. Shoot, count how many games they've lost at Durly, Babe Zaharius, and Lamar stadium (Ozen's old stadium).
My point is I have seen two games there and the team I was supporting won both and that kinda makes a person's memory of a location more positive. I have numerous reasons to enjoy DA BUTCH, one of which is I only pay $7 if I chose to. Pretty good deal, lots of district teams have crappy facilities and or parking, I wish all the Pirates away games were there. As far as one good season goes, I guess your the type that can only enjoy the Win, and can only appreciate the boys effort when they come out victorious. I think every season and game are a great one. Even the last time Vidor and Central played at Babe, six quarters of great ball Your too sensitive and read too much into posts ::)
If I read too much into it, I appologize. I do agree about that 6 quarters of football. I call that game to this day the 'thunder (2009 Vidor) and lightening (2009 Central)'.
And the last time PN-G and Central played at the Babe was an even better game. ;) ;D
-
If football were a democracy, PN-G, Nederland and Vidor would be going to the playoffs and Central and Ozen would be going to a run-off.
