Humble Summer Creek Dakota Allen picked up 2 more offers. TCU and North Texas....that brings him to a total of 9! And it's still early. Congrats Dakota !

Wow, that's incredible! Just goes to show the number of stars are meaningless when you work hard, and I think the scouts see that too.
TCU is a great offer for Dakota. Even though I think he's best suited to play in the middle against power run games, Gary Patterson is the best defensive coach in the Big 12 and he'll get excellent coaching. Dakota is bigger and more athletic than former TCU backer Tank Carder and he's in the  NFL right now. Feuerbacher picked up an offer from South Florida today to bring his total to 10. UNT also offered the twins and Singleton this week.

Twins now also have dual offers from San Diego St., North Texas, Yale, Old Dominion, along with being committed to Rice. They should get some other offers from regional non-BCS schools over the next couple of months too. I think it would take a dual BCS offer for them to de-commit from Rice though.

Raelon Singleton picked up another offer from the Golden Hurricanes of Tulsa bringing him to 8.

Is Jordan Braden going to start at RB for SC this year? I see Jeffery listed as a WR which is hard to fathom since he was the 2nd best RB in the district last year, maybe they just want to give it to him in space though?

Jeffery looks great as WR which is where we are loosing a ton of talent. Braden and Chatman will be in backfield.
Oh, ok. I just figured with 2000+ kids y'all would have numerous receivers in the pipeline or is Jeffery that much better than what you have because Braden or whoever Chatman is aren't a better rb than Jeffery?

Actually from I been seeing in spring practice, Chatman will not be back there long. I can see Jordan and Jeffrey. Chatman need to play TE or defense. We have wrs in place, but it will be smart to get him in space too

Have the defensive guys been moved around any? I recall last season we had crazy depth at LB.

I see Dakota Allen getting some love on the recruiting scene. He must of looked good at the NFTC in Dallas. Here's what the offers I can find in district 19-4a look like right now.

Jordan Feuerbacher, TE, Kingwood Park - 8 offers. He has 13 career receptions in two years but he blocks well on film and undoubtedly catches the ball well in camps. I read somewhere he wants to go to A&M though and they could use him after Griffin didn't sign last year or they don't land Koda Martin. http://247sports.com/Recruitment/Jordan-Feuerbacher-23108/RecruitInterests

Dakota Allen, ILB, Summer Creek - 7 offers. Plays the game like a high school London Fletcher and given the fact that he'll probably weigh around 240 not long after he arrives on campus he could contend early for playing time in the right system and close his career with over 30 starts. I think he's perfect for the Big 10 and their power run games. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Dakota-Allen-138238

Raelon Singleton , WR, Crosby - 6 offers. (I hear he has 8 offers but I can't confirm). Very, very raw but unlike Feuerbacher there's production to go with his potential. He had 125 receiving in Dayton and 157 more against a Manor team in the playoffs who I thought was the second best team we played all year behind SC. He had over 600 receiving yards last year in his first year back playing football and could have over 1000 this year with Justin Walter at Henderson St. His offers could double by the fall if he catches the ball well on the camp circuit. http://247sports.com/Player/Raelon-Singleton-24682

Austin Walter, RB, Crosby - 5 offers. (Doesn't show Rice). 10 ypc and 24 yards shy of 2000 last year to go with over 4000 total yards from scrimmage the first two years he's been in the backfield. I've watched the film on all the top backs in the state and country and think Joe Mixon is the best back in the country, Donald Catalon the best back in the state. Only thing stopping him from being a four star is the tape measure 'cause everything else is elite. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Austin-Walter-135246e.
*Filthiest film in the SETX - http://www.hudl.com/athlete/618456/highlights/34008378

Aaron Sharp, QB, Summer Creek - 4 offers. 6,749 yards 66tds with just 16 ints in pretty much two years of work. (Threw for 1,122 as a freshman). 24th rated dual-threat qb in the country by rivals even though I believe he's just a mobile pro-style qb. QBs and kickers do their work at camps but he's on the verge of getting a few big time offers also. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Aaron-Sharp-138237

Aston Walter, QB, Crosby - 2 offers. (Committed to Rice). Playing out of position, would dominate if he got an opportunity to play the position Justin Walter did last year. Same size and stature as Phillip Beck who is in the state record books for his 2200 yards receiving season at Crosby but a heck of a lot better natural athlete.
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Aston-Walter-135247

* I'm going to do another one for the next tier of kids that don't have offers but will probably play in college somewhere, I just can't find consistent sizes.
Man, i knew these kids were great athletes, but Jeezz!! Those runs were crazy good against some talented defenses too.

I'm tired after just watching video of Austin Walter.  I didn't know anyone could run that much.  I saw 4.7 40 time, which is obviously incorrect, but he is certainly not 4.2-4.3 either.  What is a 'legit' 40 time on him?
He ran 4.5 on the grass at his Louisiana-Lafayette recruiting trip but that's the only for sure time I know as of late. He ran 4.73 at the Nike camp in Dallas but they ran on the electronics which are very tricky if you don't practice. I think Tony Brown's 4.37 was the fastest at the camp but nobody on Ozen's squad caught him last year on his way to 221 yards and almost 10 a carry.

Raelon Singleton, (WR) Crosby, committed to the University of Utah yesterday. I would consider that a soft verbal though.

Jordan Feuerbacher, (TE) K. Park, got an in-house visit from Jeff Banks of the Texas A&M coaching staff. No offer yet but the A&M boards say he wants to really be an Aggie and I think his parents are alumni. I did read that from A&M posters so make of it what you may but he's probably close to an A&M offer.

Track speed is different than football speed.  ;D

Austin may not have track speed but he has football speed, he may not be "fast" but he is "quick".
Agree.  Also appears to have great vision which can't be coached.  And can start and stop quickly and then be at top speed within a couple of steps.  He doesn't have 'next level' break away speed but with his vision, shiftiness and speed, he can start at most D1s.  There are lots of 4.3 guys with no vision that never produce because they can't see the hole.  This kid will be a good one.  Good luck to him.

Raelon Singleton, (WR) Crosby, committed to the University of Utah yesterday. I would consider that a soft verbal though.

I don't think that's a soft verbal for Raelon, I believe if Sharp don't commit to Baylor this weekend, he will commit to Utah....Ofcourse this is hear say
