Southlake moved up to 5A and won 4 outta 5 state titles.
Of the 7 teams left in DI not named Nederland, the average enrollment is 1922 which would be 444 more then Ned. Ned is at 1478. Next closest is 1840. Poor pouting Humble Summer Creek is at 2019, which would put them behind only Guyer of the remainings. In fact SC has an average 530 student advantage over the other 8 teams in 19-4A, but I didn't hear them whining about it all year. Nederland took down Dawson (2032) and Connally (2004) in the last two rounds, so win or lose to GT with 1990 you will not hear one complaint from Dog fans. It's called CLASS. Take out the C & L and you have SC!

Good post. I never heard of Summer Creek till this year, that's why I thought they were 5A, since their numbers mirrored Georgetown's. Oh well, on to Georgetown!

If you will go back and read where I said we could have still beat Georgetown, and that didn't determine our lost....Yes SouthLake won a lot but remember you have kids move in that area all the time just to play on their football team. And yes we had a huge 8th grade class, and not a one Freshman played Varsity this year......please go hide,

We have alot of key parts who are seniors, but alot of starters are underclassmen and the Sophomore class might be better then the Seniors when it is all said and done.

Pryor and Couron are Seniors. Couron is Lamar more than likely. Pryor I do not know, might want to as phunter. Washington and Malveaux are both Juniors, Washington is likely going to A&M and Malveaux has recieved mail from big d1's but not offers from them.

I think when they opened East View GTown didn't lose any of their better players (or any of their players for that matter, lol I mean 50+ seniors? that's incredible!). Either way, they are a legit 4A school and are definitely earning their stripes.
