Game is Saturday at 1:30pm

I don't see Silsbee's 1/4 varsity, 3/4 JV team coming close the this very good Jaguar team. Will be interesting to see what the final outcome will be.

I got Central winning by +15.
It will be interesting to see the winner and the point spread final.

I don't think it would matter if silsbee had all there players or not.. I pick central by 8 with silsbee at full strength
I disagree.

Silsbee at full strength makes this game a toss up.
Interesting comment! I do see the (1)experience factor on Silsbee's side. Definitely the (2)guard play goes to Silsbee, (3) heart goes to Silsbee. But I think Central have the (1)most talent (2) height advantage...hmmm? But heart goes a long way in my book.

Silsbee is small, but very quick.. So they want to force the issue.. But Central has players who can run too. Put that together with the size, and Central becomes tough for Silsbee to play.. Experience is a factor that Central will be working on as the season goes on, but when they are as talented as they are, the growing pains wont be too bad ;)

Silsbee needs Holmes and Elam for this to be a good basketball game

Point spreads in a preseason basketball game are hard to predict. This one is more difficult bc Silsbee is missing players. Size never seems to be an issue with Silsbee bc of their style of play. They beat a huge Brookshire Royal team last year with speed and quickness. BR had 3 starters over 6'5" who could all play.

I think Central will take it, but closer than the 15 pt spread AAW is predicting. I say Central by 10 or less.

You have to remember that Silsbee is playing with mostly JV players right now.

Central by 15+. As AAW stated earlier.
I realize that, but I watched them beat PAM a few weeks ago. I realize it was not a real game per se, but it was impressive to watch their 'reserves' pick up where starters are missing. It may be 15+, I just don't think so.

Silsbee  full strength will still be a double digit loss.  Remember, Central isn't at full strength yet.  Robert and Garrison Mitchell hasn't suited up for hoops yet.  8)
If this is true, then go ahead and buy your tickets to the state tournament for Central.
So you mean to tell me that a team that can beat Silsbee by double digits can win state in 4a hoops?  Smh.  You're killing me.  ;D

Btw, I've  never said anything about a state tournament appearance...
I didn't say they would win state.  ;D  I have not seen Central play, but if they can beat a full strength Silsbee team by double digits, then they are very good and should have a good run this year.
