  1. mfd814,I can't speak for other kids who moved to Silsbee, but you mentioned PAM. My son was not recruited by any means. We did'nt use a parents address, he lives in Silsbee with his father, for much bigger reasons than basketball. So,before you speak about recruits from PAM(because my son is from PAM)know your facts!!!Thanks
  2. Thanks Farmer Fran!!! He is a great pot stirrer!!(lol)
  3. Well DV I am not from Silsbee and I don't live in Silsbee, and My sons both of them have been playing ball since they were old enough to dribble one.I will not take back what I said, and I agree with AAW they say that about all of the area schools, but nothing like this has ever happened . In all of my years of Basketball(regular season,AAU,ymca) I have never seen such disrespectful kids . I am not too sure about the changes Kashmere has made, but I have a very close friend who is a principal in that district and she has informed me that this is nothing out of the ordinary for these kids. Someone should be held accountable. Where were the sponsors, where was the HISD police,Where were their PARENTS???There is no excuse for what happened. This involved me directly. So I may have more of an opinion than you DV!!!
  4. I don't like speaking down on peoples kids, but Kashmere is beyond Hood!! They are some very disrespectful and untamed kids. These kids were let off the bus to partake in this fight. I believe that this school should be sanctioned for this event.
  5. I would l9ike to say, the missed dunk did not cause us to loose the game!!! I agree,is there a height requirement to dunk. You also have to remember it was the seniors last game to play in there gym.WE are still #1 in district, and we WILL go deep in the play-offs. Soo,with that being said, lay off!! WOS got the win,but there is no need to bash our boys!!If the dunks had been made, then what? Tigers played a good game, and they had fun!!! And yes we are the team that was said to beat Yates!!!TIGER NATION!!! LET'S EAT!!!! STATE BOUND!!!
  6. I was there!!! He did do pretty good. You guys know I have his stats,I was just wondering about the rest of the team. He had another double double 20pts, and 12 rebounds.
  7. I hadn't posted in a while, but today I must. I would like to commend my #32 on all of his accomplishments. Keep working son. Stay focused and the sky is the limit. I am very proud of you!! The best is yet to come!!#TEAMWORK makes THE DREAM WORK
  8. Hey Dove, keep watching #32,he will definitely make that list!!!! I notice that you have listed alot of kids that play AAU. Don't over look the ones that are not on a Houston AAU team!!!
  9. I agree bradyb 100%.I have confidence in the team and Coach Segler. He will make the proper adjustments. Way to go Tigers!!! Keep working!!!
  10. Nederland did play hard, and they played team ball. Their win was well deserved.Zach did play an exellent game. I watched the film from the Westbrook/Silsbee game lastnight after the game, and Silsbee played a great game of "TEAM" ball.I did'nt see that tonite. I believe last night the Tigers could have also played better defense. They did not hustle the boards as they should have, and freethrows hurt them too. They need to realize that when one thing is not working for you go to plan B. And about the incident with the fans and the coach. It was not the fans and Coach English,it was Coach English and the refs. The fans were just listening to Coach English go off on the refs(lol). Whatever he told them must have worked, because the calls started being called the other way!!!HMMMMM......The tigers will be fine. TEAM BALL is the key,and hustle, hustle, hustle the boards. Its no secret who my son is,and trust me he could have definitely hustled harder...He got this lecture all the way home!!!#32's number 1 Fan
  11. Yes Teams win championships, and trust me #32 understands "TEAM" ball. He is a player that will pass before he shoots if one of his teammates is open. He has been repremanded for passing too much.So with all of that being said ......Watch 32.....you can't find a kid who plays better team ball!!!!
  12. I don't think that its worring about the individual instead of the team. What is wrong with him recieving the compliment that he played a good game. I notice that there is mention of other players and there isn't any feedback on that. i understand that DaVaughn is not originally from Silsbee and Silsbee fans have there favorites, Well DaVaugn has a fan base also and there is NOTHING wrong with someone giving him a pat on the back. I don't believe that he is one of the Tiger Fans favorites, but he is an awesome TEAM player. He plays very unselfish unlike many of his teamates, and he IS a key component to this team!!!! Keep up the good work 32. Continue playing your game despite what "TIGER FANS" think.
  13. It seems to be alot of focus on the football players returning, but lets not forget the team that held it down before they returned. We were winning then, and we will continue to win!!! Lets not be too hard on Danti either. This kid plays with alot of heart,he may have let his emotions take over this game, and possibly caused the a loss, but he has also caused PLENTY wins!!!
  14. Will there be a brodcast of the Silsbee/Nederland game?
  15. Foul trouble was an issue for the Tigers. Thomas had 3 fouls in the first quarter and Donte had 3 in the second quarter. Both guys played really guarded. They were not able to play there game due to the excessive whistle blowing by Moe Jerry!!!The defense that Silsbee normally plays was not present. Good game Tigers!!Kountz also came to play. They will go far this year. They have some great shooters!!Keep your heads up Tigers!!#TIGERNATION----WE ARE GONNA EAT!!!
  16. I am not speaking of you Soulja,I am speaking in the community. This site is not the only place these conversations are being held!!!
