[/quote] In the game vs. Vidor, there were ways to minimize the pressure such as sliding protection to give Mitchell a second or 2 longer so he could hit those short routs (btw, if there was a chink in the Pirate d, it was the [b]mediocre secondary[/b]).  But our staff can't make really good mid game adjustments we'll.

[/quote]Now THAT I agree with you on.  We should have /could have nickeled and dimed you all night with the short pass.  We didn't because for the last few weeks, Mitchell have enjoyed time in the pocket.  you would think that was part of the scouting report that the inside stuff would be wide opened all night.

[/quote] I don't know.  Last year, y'all beat us 35-0.  That was the  game  Mitchell got injured, so I think if we have a chance to return the favor, they will, imo.

I dont care what league you play in. If you have only 28 yards rushing then  you are going to lose period. All the athletes in the world and that is the result you get versus a smaller, slower team. Very poor preparation by the jags and very good by the pirates. You can't teach heart. By the way I think Vidor is the beaumont bowl champions.....

Highlight for me when Dayton traveled to Livingston was the PA announcer (I believe they call her Reba).  Talk about a homer doing the game by game.  When Livingston scores it sounds like "The View" on an estrogonical high.  Good luck to Central.  Livingston wasn't 100% when Dayton played them, but neither was Dayton.  I will tell all who will win come Thursday.
