When was the last time that all HS in same county were in playoffs?

Harris County would need 100 teams in the playoffs lol.
I am sure there are some one school counties maybe out there.

What specifically are you trying to get at with this question?  Which county do you have your eye on?
I don't really have an eye on one, but just was curious if it has happened. Bored ;D

Pretty much rule out Jefferson and Harris. Too many teams.

Chambers: BH, Anahuac, EC
Liberty: Liberty, Dayton, Cleveland, Hardin, Hull Daisetta
Hardin: Lumberton, Silsbee, Kountze, H-J
Orange: BC, WOS, Vidor, LCM
Jasper: Buna, Kirbyville, Jasper, Evadale
Newton: Newton, Deveyville, Burkeville
Tyler: Warren, Woodville, Colmesneil

So thats the mental Mapquest in my head. Could very well have omissions and/or errors. Please correct! Apologies for whatever I missed.

That looks right with the possible exception of one or more of the Baytown schools being in Chambers County.  I know GCM is not (it is in Harris Co.), but I am not sure about Lee or Sterling.

No, all GCISD schools are in Harris. Sterling is a block east of Garth Rd on Baker St.in the dead center of Baytown, and Lee is at the south tip of Baytown, near the old tunnel thats now a bridge.

I would think this is a yearly thing with Chambers county I know BH, EC and Anahuac have all been in the playoffs. ( insert BH one and done joke here ----->)
It's not a yearly thing. Anahuac did not make the playoffs last year.

In theory, Jefferson County could send all teams to the playoffs. West Brook and Memorial both making the playoffs in the same year (not necessarily this year) really isn't a stretch. PN-G, Nederland, Central and Ozen would have to take up all four 20-4A spots. Considering that both Mid-County schools and one of the Beaumont schools have made it the last three years running, that really isn't a stretch. The main obstacles would be Vidor and Livingston. Then there's Kelly, and I believe they made it to a TAPPS state championship either last season or the season before, so that's really not a stretch of the imagination. The issues would come in the lower classifications. I have no idea what Sabine Pass's playoff chances are and do we really see Hamshire-Fannett making the playoffs any time soon? Also, would Hardin-Jefferson be in that mix because part of their district extends into Jefferson County?

Orangefield is in Orange county as well.  In the early 2000s I know that OF, BC, WOS and LCM all made the playoffs in the same season, just don't remember the exact year.  Don't know if there has ever been a year when all 5 OC schools made the playoffs.

H-J's school is in Hardin Co. So, no. Thats not in Jefferson.

I knew it was theoretically possible for all Jeff Co. teams to make it in, but not really plausible to do so. Harris would be impossible.

Thank you! I knew I had to miss at least one when I conjured up that list in my head.  :P

I don't know how I missed OF, I see them every year vs. EC, LOL.  :)

Liberty County: 2000

Dayton Broncos: Area Qualifier 4A DII
Cleveland Indians: State Quarterfinalist 3A DI
Liberty Panthers: Bi-District Qualifier 3A DII
Hardin Hornets: Bi-District Qualifier 2A DI
Hull-Daisetta Bobcats: Bi-District Qualifier 2A DII

I thought they had the clean sweep based off the list that was posted earlier in the thread..... Then I realized Liberty County has SIX schools. Tarkington is in Liberty Co. Tarkington only has one playoff appearance in school history and that was 56 years ago (1956).

Still five out of six ain't bad. Four teams went a few times.

All-Time Playoff appearances for Liberty Co:

Dayton: 27 appearances (including currently 16 in a row dating back to 1995)
Cleveland: 14 playoff appearances (including 9 since 1997)
Liberty: 24 appearances (including 12 trips since 1995)
Hardin: 7 appearances (including 5 since 2000)
Hull-Daisetta: 31 appearances (including 10 since 1998)
Tarkington: 1 appearance (1956)

Dayton has appeared in one state championship game (2008) and Hull-Daisetta has appeared in two (1961 and 1979), winning Liberty County's only State Championship.

If i am correct Orange county had 5 out of 6 teams last year with Vidor, WOS, BC, and WOS making and only LCM missing it last year. That's pretty close.

Orange County only has 5 teams, not 6.

Bridge City
LCM
Orangefield
Vidor
WO-S

3 of the 5 made the playoffs last year.

    • Where were the 8 Omaha teams in D1's preseason top 25 poll... 2. Florida 8. A&M 9. Tennessee 13. N.C.State 14. Virginia 15. North Carolina Kentucky - unranked Florida State - unranked
    • That TDS is really flaring. Now do Biden. You have way, way, way more material. And keep that bitter "you are better than me" jealousy tone you have with Trump. You know Biden, the one you want everyone to vote for instead of Trump. Somehow you didn't acknowledge my pleas for you to die a painful death. I was quite certain that is how you would have interpreted my previous post. I guess when your focus is Trump 24/7, nothing else matters.
    • I have a better one. The point that nobody wants to acknowledge is that Dems are crossing over to vote Trump in the primaries and in the general so he will win the presidency. That way Trump will get the blame when the Dems implement their sinister plan to deport all of the minorities in the country. They have already laid the groundwork...convincing everyone that Trump and Republicans are racist (without providing any proof). Then it will be just a matter of time to execute their White supremacy plan of the great purge of the dirty, unwashed, heathen, non-Whites that roam freely in this country. I think my theory is more viable than your theory. Maybe we can get some other ridiculous scenarios so we can start a poll.
    • But that’s what Trump’s fanboys don’t understand.  When he talked about sexually assaulting women, y’all laughed it off as “locker room talk.”  When it was proven that he raped E. Jean Carroll, you cried that it was all an injustice… a lie. Even though he’d already confessed to doing the same thing to other women.  John McCain has suffered and sacrificed more for his country than practically anybody, except possible gold star families… and Trump called him a loser or something to that effect. “Oh, it was a joke that no one was supposed to take seriously.” But when Trump, after disrespecting the sacrifices of one of our most valiant, y’all are like “just because Trump didn’t go to Omaha Beach doesn’t mean he isn’t pro military!” Really? All you have to do is listen to what he said about McCain’s service. Not McCain as an opponent, not McCain’s political views… about the fact that the man was tortured, probably raped, and who knows what all else for over five years for swearing an oath and putting on the uniform.  But all of y’all supposedly “pro military” people just laughed along with Trump. “Good one, Sir! Maverick my new-hind! Filthy Rino!”  I don’t understand how the same people (y’all) who probably always say “thank you for your service” to any veteran still support a guy who craps on the ones who suffered the most on our behalf.  It’s baffling.
    • Wow. Do you actually believe your little scenario has any chance of alleviating you of your moral immaturity? Deflection at it's best...or worse. You seem to be a sad case. If you died today, I would be remiss if not attributing your cause of death to severe TDS, and of course, Covid. Look at that. I just made a joke about your death. You did not get offended. Nobody was offended. Not one person will accuse me of being hateful towards fellow human beings. But yet, you hate Trump because he made a similar crude comment about McCain. You tried to attribute that comment as evidence Trump hates the military. What grade level of schoolchildren do you think is laughing at you for that "less that adolescent" (hint, hint) comment. You used one crude comment in an attempt to justify your TDS. Now, when called on it, you try to deflect the whole topic. You are certainly not having any fun with this, but you sure are providing entertainment for the board. It's a shame you can't join in on the fun. I think even Big Girl might be to the point of giggling at the shamelessness you are exhibiting.
