Too bad the locals are not noticing. Texas is ranked 3 away from the worse attendance. Texas needs to do a free night just like the drillers to get fans interested.

the free night for the drillers didnt bring in alot of new people.

Doing a free night I dont believe adds anything, then people just will wait til the do another free night before going back out. I would actually like to see maybe next year since the schedule for this year is already set up, a early afternoon weekday game, kind of like the "businessman's special" they do for Astro games on occasion except tie it in with the school disturcits BISD, HJISD, NISD etc etc etc get the kids interested in it where they then go after their parents to go.

Bus the kids in, with chaperones of course, start the game at noon, provide all the kids with a free sack lunch, game would be out 230-245 be back on campus in time to ride their normal bus home.

They already do that in several other ECHL cities, and it works great for them.

It's like a hockey field trip.

Those games usually have the most fighting.
