Apparently whoever voted for them never saw them play! We play them 5 times, they MIGHT beat us once. Other than Collins, they weren't that good. Not trying to diminish our victory, but Ned is clearly the better team... 8)

Good job SETX guys on the rankings. Except for putting Central in front of Crosby I think y'all hit the rankings on the screws. Hard to argue with results come playoff time.

[/quote] Tell me again when Crosby played Central?  Also, y'all beat Ozen by 3.  You barely beat them whereas we've beaten them 3 times out of 4, one of them was a double digit win.  Trust me, you wanted NO part of Central this year.

[/quote]Ozen came back the last few minutes of the game shooting freethrows on some phantom fouls called on Crosby. Ozen was down 16 points late in the third quarter and Crosby got off the gas. It ended up being a 3 point spread but 75% of the game Ozen was down double digits. We win that game by 15 in Crosby and probably all four times. Crosby had more size and the Williams/Stewart combo killed the Jones/Hunter combo in terms of guard play. There's no team in Beaumont ISD that could play with Crosby in football or basketball this year.

...and you just couldn't win your district outright, could you?  You had to split with Humble, that Nederland, our third place team, beat with ease.  That same Nederland team who Central beat 3 times, twice by double digits.  Like I said, Central would have crushed Crosby.  Don't kid yourself.  Football?  Sir, did you know this is the basketball forum?
