Just some quotes from t-daddy this past week:

"Silsbee #6??????  So what happens when Jasper wins Friday, silsbee losses to an unranked team, does that mean they will drop out and Jasper goes to #15."

"Hey tiger fan Jasper leads the series 42-29-2  :P continue being content with your 1 point victory over newton. Friday nights ride home from the sticks will be long and quite except for the kitty cats asking for ice packs... : :o"

"Newton's not great and you only scored 21 and gave up 20...Jasper will be the best team silsbee has played all year.  I'm gonna love watching that silsbee bubble burst Friday night...like it has so many times in the past.."

"NO WAY silsbee beats Jasper in Jasper.  Silsbee was lucky to "get by" newton Jasper won't miss any extra points.  Jasper is 2 touchdowns better.."

"Jasper has played a harder schedule so far with livingston, lumberton, and wos that should pay dividends against silsbee"

T-Daddy, you have been served!!!! ;D

If  Silsbee is really a top ten team, then we are pretty durn good if we cut out mistakes and get refs to call the obvious. Just sayin. Yall can say what you want and yes Silsbee played a good game and Jasper didn't tackle well, but there were some chop blocks and pass interference calls that just flat didn't get called. Congrats to Silsbee, but I just hope they are really a top ten team. Whoever plays Silsbee better watch their knees. >:(

You better put it in the crock pot so it will be tender...much like our D lines back side cause that is where they were all night....

NOT making excuses but how big was the "inadvertent" whistle after the int...instead of 1st and 10 inside the 5 we get the ball around midfield.  ???? Tie game????

the truth is , silsbee to big and to fast for Jasper. Silsbee made several key mistakes tonight and still won. Refs ? are you kidding me. And dont even go to the knee thing. You need to suck up your lose and support your team in a possitive way. One thing I was proud of tonight was , Silsbee fans yelled their team on.

The refs didn't cause our wr to drop 3 passes or our qb to make bad decisions or just throw it up.....but....

Watching tape they didn't call some obvious holding on the drive with 2 big completions left tackle was holding on both once pulling him down from the back of shirt ref looking right at it ( you can always find holding on film but not a good crew )

You do realize that Jasper still scored on that drive after that interception. ::)

Blah Blah Blah.
Your "team"  had a pass or two that didnt work.  So what?

We gave you the ball in outstanding field position five times! With that the Tigers gave you the chance to win the game.  All your team had to do was get past ours........ Nope.

Someone said it earlier.....The Tiger 11 play as 1.

Just eat that plate buddy! ;)  You ordered it....eat it! ;D

Not taking anything away from silsbee....Jasper lost...

Last Jasper drive instead of 1st down block in the back is called on field...text book block head in front shoulder to shoulder...blocker hesitated until silsbee player turned...ref made up his mind before contact was made he reaches to his back pocket in anticipation.. Not saying intentional...just wrong..ref on Jasper side terrible...

Alright enough crow...going home goooood night.. >:(

Gotta love dem pancake blocks. Do you know that out of Jasper's 194 total yards they gained 116 in the first half. They had more return yards (about 167) than the offense had yards. Out of Silsbee's 366 total yards we gained 246 in the first half. The only reason yall where in the game is because of them two rockets yall got on the return team and I mean rockets. I said Silsbee by 5 points and Silsbee won by 7. Silsbee totally controlled the second half. Fear the Horn. Go Tigers!!!

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
