BH starts new school year still dominating the Bronco's

Recommended Posts

Well the TEA scores are out and a big shocker!!!!! BH spanks Dayton with a Recognized status ;D while the Broncos come limping in with a Academically Acceptable :'(

BH scores one school in the Explempary status while the other 4 hit Recognized

Dayton some how gets two schools in the Recognized status while 3 are Academically Acceptable and 1 is Academecally Un Acceptable :o

All I can say is Thank God Dayton can play football and Thank God I live in BH ;D ;D :D

Football is coming! Can you taste it?

Since this is a football thread we're still outsmarting the ANTS on the turf ;D

Your right TEX  ;) You know that yearly BH beat-down must hurt bad when all you hear about is how BH is dominating Dayton in everything else besides football on a football thread ;D Maybe we can get the mods to start a forum section called " IM BETTER THAN YOU " or "THE HILL IS FOR REAL IN EVERYTHING BUT FOOTBALL" so BHFAN can actually post comments that have something to do with the forum. I JUST GOT 1 QUESTION FOR YA BHFAN.................... ??? ??? ??? If your team gets "outsmarted" or "out played" on the field every year by a bunch of tards does that mean the team is athleticly "un-acceptable". ;) ???

BHFAN, I saw on the BHISD website where 100% passed TASK and 100% graduated.

As for the score board, not sure we will get to play Dayton.  Not enough letters on that score board to spell "[s]Horses Ars[/s]""Ars Whoopin"...... ;D ;D
Fixed it for ya smokin one.  ;D ;D

Makes you wonder, who's getting paid at the TEA to give exemplary ratings every year @ BH....  :-\ Cause they can't tell time, (Late for the National Anthem) Don't know how to open the locker room door (Late for the National Anthem) Uniforms<----- found their way through time travel... BH jumped at the chance to snag the ugly things (Not smart) etc..... :D   AND.... can't beat the purple kool-aid drinking Broncos in the biggest high school sport in the state of Texas, or get past the other purple peps east of the Trinity River in the FIRST round of the playoffs. ;D

I'll answer it....one too many.

LOL.  I need percentages Grad.  Surely a district so high falootin' as BH with their many Rhode Scholars can give percentages.  Or is that the TEA's dirty little secret they won't let out...?

Dayton's academics are closer to Barber's Hill academics than the Hill's football team is to Dayton's.  Dayton missed being recognized by 1% of one sub-pop, a 79% in math and the required number was 80%.  With the kind of numbers that Dayton has in that sub-pop that equates to about one to two students.  Dayton's teachers and administration deserve a congratulations for where they have come in less than 2 years.  One thing that is interesting enough is that Barber's Hill does not have to count one of their sub-pops because they do not have enough to be counted.  Hmmmm, I wonder what sub-pop that is???  Also Dayton educates a student population that is 45% Economically Disadvantaged, Barber's Hill has a Econ. Disadvantage population of 15-17%.  Hard to compare apple to oranges and that is what Dayton and Barber's Hill are when comparing student populations....But, no one can tell how rich you are, what color you are or what language you speak when that helmet comes on, and when you compare that, there is a clear cut winner.....How 'bout them BRONCOS!!!!!

That whole football analogy is history.  All that ends this year.

If they paid taxes on all that drug money that comes out of Kenefick, they might move up in that ranking.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
