BH's Turf (Updated Pics 8/19/11)

Ok I just got back from the stadium and good news ;D they have started digging up the footers for the old stands and pouring footers for the new ones. 1st pic is from the back of the visitor stands. The track is poured and the turf is being layed out,but still has to be connected and I'm assuming something like an Eagle will be placed on the 50. The far end zone in the picture reads "Barbers Hill" and the close endzone in the pic reads "Eagles". There is also various other project going on which i'm assuming is concessions and restrooms. anywho here ar the pics.

Nice track too but a shame ya didn't have it a long time ago.I wouldn't have to eat the dust off Bobby Steck's track shoes.That dude was made for speed.If I had not already said it"Congrats w/all the new,coaches-facilities-Nah not the uni's 8) ;) ;) ;) ::)

  Bobby Steck was indeed fast,I believe he tied a state record in the 100 yard dash back in '68.

All the improvements being made at Eagle Stadium will be enjoyed by everyone who visits. Looks very nice and congratulations for making the stadium comfortable for everyone. I would love to see a one-two finish in district with Dayton winning the district and BH second. Whoever draws Livingston will have a very tough game. Also, if I'm not mistaken, Bobby Steck of BH and Lawrence Eaglin from Hull-Daisetta had some very good duels in track.

Just heard from a little bird ;D That the 50 yard line will have the "BH the Hill" emblem on the 50 ;D Oh and Tex we spotted you a 50 spot last year don't get greddy ;) Hoefully Doc can get a picture of a Bronco face down on "The Hill" emblem this year ;D

[/quote]It certainly would be a crime for any Bronco to wear a BH uniform. If they did they would be sitting on death row in Huntsville not at the Hightower unit in Dayton.

Hmmm, Not sure if your talking about people or Hair cutters, but the answer is yes to both ;D We have Barbers that cut our hair and memebers of the Barbers family that still attend Barbers Hill ;D

Does Dayton have any purple horses roaming the halls? :D and if they do are any of the football players dating her ;D

I stopped by the new field late yesterday afternoon and it looked like the turf is in and the track was put down.  Good thing too, the rain was falling so should help the new field grow....... ;D
