The funniest thing about every time someone starts a thread like this about Silsbee, and someone from HJ says something then it always reverts back to HJ football or HJ having someone in the Olympics!!!!!

Just shows how weak minded a few people are.........it is OK that Silsbee year in and year out has likely one of the best teams in the state and yet they have NOTHING to show for it!!!!  Sucks Tiger fans, don't it!!! ;D ;D ;D

What sucks is when football season starts and your school loses 84-0 and 70-0. What will be HJ's record in football this year? 1-9? 2-8? Better play some 2A and sixman teams to prepare for a butt whipping in district. Again, cancel that program. We may not have a state crown in basketball or football but at least we dont go out each week knowing that we just going to get a good workout. It would be wise for HJ to just pull the bulbs out of the visters side of the score board and just keep score by calculator! Just saying buddy! When your team gets the score board busted on them every week, it tends to concern us.

It doesn't matter what HJ's record will be at the end of the season - they will be @ home watching the state finals just like Silsbee.  You say it concerns us?  No it's just another chance for you to slam HJ.  Just remember that jealousy is one of the seven deadlies!

We have had our chances to win State Championships but we have fallen short every time
Yeah it sucks but I feel with the athletes that Silsbee puts out that it’s only a matter of time
But until that day comes we will just have settle for watching Silsbee beat HJ and winning district Championships  ;D ;D

Anybody from HJ ever in Olympics? I guess the answer to that was NO
It’s ok HJ to only have success @ the High School level

      I liked his no bull crap attitude. He was a man of very few words. Extremely strong and freaky athletic!!! As close as possible to being the best offensive lineman to ever play the game. I hope his family finds peace without him!!! RIP #73

      Chester, a small town in NE Tyler County.  A town that is seeing growth with the addition of a national chain store and a new school being built.  If you travel 287 toward Dallas from the Golden Triangle you have probably passed through Chester.  Things tend to stay pretty consistent and it is your typical small town.   A trip to state is the buzz around town, and the talk before church services begin on Sunday.  This year’s graduating class will number 11.  We don’t have a radio station that covers the Yellowjackets.  We are never a lead story on any of the news stations that broadcast to our community. With all that said, there is a closeness and sense of pride in our community.  Every community rallies behind their kids as they progress into the playoffs.  We are proud of our boys as they have represented our community well and with class.
