Tonight join me, Mike Sanchez (AAW), along with Robert Sells (BMTSoulja) as we host the SETXsports Weekly Preview Show from the Hamburger Depot, Neches St., in downtown Beaumont. We will catch everyone up on the district standings, go over last week's games, preview this coming week's games, go over the state rankings and our very own SETXsports.com Dirty Dozen rankings, get started on some playoff talk and then in our last segment, have our ever popular Discussion segment where you the listener can join in on the fun.

Our show time will start at 6pm till 8pm. So come on down to the Hamburger Depot tonight and join in on some great food and fun. If not, you can listen right here at SETXsports by clicking on the link provided.

Q1 What team this year has come a long way from being the team the where in the beginning of the season / Cinderella team?
Q2 In your Opinion what teams have fallen short of pre-season expectations this season?
Q3 What teams in SETX have lived up to their expectations and are on the right track to fulfill their goal?
Q4 What match-ups are you looking forward to watching in the play-offs?
Q5 If you had to pick 1 or 2 teams that will be playing in Austin form SETX who would it be?

If I had to predict who would win out of Sealy vs. La Grange in the 1st round
I would probably say Sealy would win
So looking ahead to the 2nd round with Silsbee playing the winner
How do you think the Tigers Match up against Sealy and their height?
I did look at Sealy vs. Stafford games
Stafford only has 1 big man but won both games and shot the 3 alot better than Sealy 
I guess Silsbee will just have to run them down and execute
Just curious about this match-up since the last team that Silsbee played with size was Dayton which Silsbee did beat

      Lucky for Orangefield there’s only 3 games max to play.    Someone said they had a pitcher or 2 throw 90’s but I don’t know that for a fact.  Rumors.   it appears that Orangefield will see some faster pitchers this round. Generally speaking I haven’t been too impressed with Orangefield opponents pitching. Only pitcher so far that was fast (92 mph) was vs Woodville in first game & Orangefield got several runs off of him.    Looking for a good series with no injuries for both teams.

      Apologies if this is a stupid question, but why would they just not renew his contract for the 24/25 school year if he had multiple write-ups? I know teachers and paraprofessionals don't get their contract renewed if their performance is bad enough - are coaches' contract situations different?

      It’s very difficult to fire an educator.  It’s not difficult to reassign them and put them in a situation where they’re likely to leave on their own.  I’m not sure of the legality of exposing an employee’s work records, but it seems likely it’s not allowed if nothing criminal took place.
