Gotta make excuses when Central is so bad they can't even blow out little ol PNG. Everyone know's that we are not a very good basketball team and the 2 old dominant team's from Beaumont are having problem's against us. I'd make excuses too!

I wasn't at the Vidor, PNG game Tuesday but was told by someone that was there the same thing was happening in that game. PNG star player doing same type of stuff and no foul.
Yes.  He was throwing elbows right in front of the ref and no O-foul.  Talking trash to our players.  Pushing.  Slamming the basketball down when he is mad.  No foul.  Tick tack fouls called if you breath too hard on a player wearing purple.  I norally don't blame the refs, but I have NEVER been at a poorly officated game than tonight.
You obviously wasn't at this game.  And if you were, you are obviously biased.  Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles could have seen that the Refs were not going to call the game fairly.  It was downright pathetic.  All that and PN-G still didn't get the W.  I guess some things just don't change...

You really should look at the foul count before making that statement. It make you look bad.

Wow. Central needed that.
Yes, we did.  Now we have to take it to Ozen.  Tonight, we missed WAY too many point blank attempts.  And you have 3 and 4 Offensive rebounds and you miss all of the put backs and you miss layups all the time.  You will not beat Ozen that way.  Also, we need players to take open 3's and quit being so passive.  This will spread anyone's defense and make those penetrations to the basket a breeze.
Yes, where is the foul count?  Where was the Technical foul on your hothead swing man?  My point exactly...

Those guys over there at PNG have bad sportsmanship...I witnessed it during football season .
Great sportsmanship was shown by the Central coach who came running onto the court shaking his fist at the PNG side at the end of the Game. Central had trouble with PNG and frankly they can't stand the fact that they really aren't that good at basketball anymore!

First, the Central coach did not run across the floor and shake his fist at the PNG side.  He has much more class than that.  Second, lets talk about the PNG coach (or trainer or whatever) that had to apologize to a Central player at the end of the game for elbowing him in the head.  He was escorted over by the Port Neches police.  Then we can talk about the rest of the coaching staff that trips the other teams as they run the baseline.

This was the worst display of sportsmanship I have seen in a long time.  I don't think that Central played their best game, but at least they did it without whining and slamming balls around...

Yes the Central coach certainly did do just what I said. Not the Head coach - an assistant whom I have not seen before this year.  Officiating was about what I have seen all year EXCEPT in Vidor Tuesday Night. Both teams got a few Breaks IMO.

Central did show poor sportsmanship like always as after the barely beat PNG they run out on the court jumping up and down like monkeys.
BmtSoulja your gonna say the refs went PNGs way when in the last minute they call a "tick tack" foul for a steal that would have lead to PNG winning the game probably.

Central is in no way a dominate force in 20-4a anymore, get over it.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
