How come we cannot get any info on our recruits.

I'm sure there are others that aren't on this list. From Coach Woodard, they are going to recruit the Juco level hard for OL and DL and then take the best athletes available.

I hear next year, they will concentrate on the high school level.

I didn't see any Lamar recruits on that list, only players or high schools named Lamar.  But I think Saturday is early signing day for JUCO players so we might hear some kind of announcement then.  It's hard to find recruiting information on schools that are not FBS.

i think this list may be football and basketball combined, check the sizes of some of the young men.

I can tell you for sure that Ford has not committed to Lamar.  Lamar is on his list of possibles.

Spoke with a very good source to LU tonight and I was told that LU has verbal commits from some key players and skill players.  A QB, RB, TE and are looking hard at OL and DL!!!!!

LeFredrick Ford was quoted in the paper the other day saying he'll wait until February before making a decision.  Also, Trey Cassidy from Angleton has given a verbal to Colorado State.  He would have been a nice pickup for Lamar.

Hipster, many colleges do not put out info on their recruits..it's common. The main reason that I have been told by more than one college coach is that they may have some sleepers and don't want to draw the attention of other schools by announcing they are being recruited.

For a young man from a local HS to rush for over 5,500 yards in his HS career; I hope the coaches at Lamar are showing him some love!

Forney will never, ever be a dual threat QB. You have to actually have some speed to be a dual threat QB. Kid runs 5+ second forty on a good day. Good arm.
I would say if he plays at LU it will be as a DE. His work ethic will need to change, especially to play QB.

Three PNG seniors this year that can play at the next level, be it FBS or FCS, but have heard very little about their recruitment to date:

QB - B. Doty - 6'2" 185 lbs
OL - G. Lunceford - 6'3" 270 lbs
LB - D.J. Schexneider - 6'2" 200 lbs

Another is WR A. Jalali - 5'9" 170 lbs, but he will play baseball (kid can hit a ton and is fast on the bases). Maybe an LU diamond recruit!

Come on, Forney is faster than 5.0 in the forty. He is tall so it doesn't appear he is moving very fast. I bet he runs at least a 4.7.

I agree, he will probably change positions at the next level.

Did you watch him play any? He is SSSSSSSSSSSLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW. But like I said he has a legit arm. If he plays QB he will be a pocket passer.
Sonnier only ran in the 4.6 range! And he was football fast.

6'5" 250 pounders dont run 4.7's very often! I'd be willing to bet Cam Newton will only clock 4.6ish at the combine.

No, I've read several complaints of the turf they run on at the combine. A lot of players don't like it.
