Brenham could (and probably should) have beat them last year.  They're not '08-'09 Lake Travis.

They don't have it filled in but isn't Manvel the 24-4A div. 2 winner? I'm pretty sure they are. Manvel is my dark horse pick to make it to the quarter final (regional) game. Maybe farther even. I've been watching that team for a couple of years now and they are stout.

Actually, they're not really a dark horse. Just a real solid team that doesn't get much publicity due to the stacked district they're in. They manhandled Sante Fe and almost beat FW. The other district loss was to Lamarque. Not sure what happened in that game, but hey, it's Lamarque. Manvel will be there to face either Brenham, El Campo or Dayton in the quarters.

Welcome Aledo Fan.

Not sure if Brenham should have beat Aledo, but they certainly could have.  When you get to the state final or semi final game every game is winnable.  It just comes down to what team is better on any given night.

BTW, I would REALLY like to see your running back versus the Dayton Bronco defense.

Yea I was talking about Div. 1, but you're right. I can definitley see Highland Park vs. Aledo in the Div. 2 semis.

I agree 100%.  You do not make it to the Semi-Finals or especially the finals in the Texas State Playoffs unless you deserve to be there.  I was not comfortable with our situation last year until we scored the final touchdown.  Not only did it increase our lead but it just sucked the air out of the Cub offense.  Man they were scary and that was a great game.

JGray is a joy to watch.  Each week he pulls off a run that can only be described as truly special.  He continues to improve with each game.

My only fear going into the playoffs is that we again have not been tested since district play began.  I am cautiously confident that Aledo will make it to the final game and come out on top!

GO BEARCATS........DO IT AGAIN IN 2010!

The bad news is that Aledo is a lot better than last year.....the scary part is that all of their studs are only Juniors

      I have a better one. The point that nobody wants to acknowledge is that Dems are crossing over to vote Trump in the primaries and in the general so he will win the presidency. That way Trump will get the blame when the Dems implement their sinister plan to deport all of the minorities in the country. They have already laid the groundwork...convincing everyone that Trump and Republicans are racist (without providing any proof). Then it will be just a matter of time to execute their White supremacy plan of the great purge of the dirty, unwashed, heathen, non-Whites that roam freely in this country.       But that’s what Trump’s fanboys don’t understand.  When he talked about sexually assaulting women, y’all laughed it off as “locker room talk.”  When it was proven that he raped E.
