Not quite;Mid 60's @ Dayton w/Broncos leading HJ 7-0 in the closing minute HJ scores it's 7-6,HJ goes for 2 -QB back to pass w/heavy rush and recievers covered in the corners and a lob pass across the goal line caught on tape by the HJ CENTER.Ref raises hands,crowds run on the field-GAME OVER.Protest was to no avail WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH-Man I'm an antique ::) ;D

If they had taken care of business a mistake by a ref might have cost them some points but not the game !!!!!

Then again, if your team didn't let HJ score it at the end it wouldn't be an issue.  Just tired of the whining I see on a few other threads.

When you have two evenly matched teams officials can certianly influence the outcome of a game with a missed or bad call.Jmo

I agree that refs usually dont determine the outcome of a game but what they can do with bad calls is change the momentum of a series and may change the game but i good team dont let that get them down they step up and make a play to get it back

I can attest to that. It's not just Moms...LOL! I have never been to a football game in my life (at any level) where there wasn't several guys making a complete fool out of themselves by yelling at the ref on every pentalty or "apparent" penalty. It's ridiculous. I wish the refs would start calling penalties the crowd for harassment. Maybe then it would stop. And, if it didn't, the rest of the fans could carry the "fools" out of the stadium...HA! Now, that would be cool!
