West Orange-Stark at Bridge City, which will now kick off on Saturday, October 23rd at 6:00 p.m. from Larry Ward Stadium in Bridge City.

As I learn of other games being broadcast, I certainly let you know.

Right now, that WO-S/Bridge City game is scheduled for 6:00p.m., but it is subject to change based on the time the coaches agree to play.

KFDM will announce the full schedule next week. As of now, the station plans to broadcast a total of 6 games on the CW and simulcast them on KFDM.com. Most of the remaining options are B.I.S.D. games that are already scheduled for Saturdays.

That's what i thought as well then i called the WO-S office and they said it's at WO-S.

That would make more sense because as it looks right now on WOS schedule, they would have 3 home games, 6 out of town, and 1 neutral site.

With that game being in WOS, that would even the schedule out better with 4 home games, 5 out of town and 1 neutral site (Giddings).

It would also even out Kirbyville's schedule. Right now they have 6 home games. This would give them an even 5 home and 5 away.

Grad, you need to get busy!!! ;D

Man, just when I thought it was time to rest.  You guys have to do something to make me have to do 3 or 4 new tasks! LOL!  Okay, the game date, time and YES venue now reflects the proper information (or at least proper as it stands right now).

That's cool!  A lot of kids getting face time on TV can't be a bad thing.

BH thinks of Dayton as a bunch of uneducated burger flippin rednecks so dist.gm#1 we're gonna invite the blue collar comedy group to come do the play by play, invite willie nelson so we're sure to get tv coverage when the smoke comes out of the bronco tunnel led by willie ,then a halftime burger flippin contest and best of show redneck grill competition ::) ;D ;D

Geez, the first two games will both be WO-S games, huh? Makes me wonder if Kerry had anything to do with that? LOL!

Actually, it's not the first two games, just two of the games they will be doing.

I hate the Kirbyville vs WO-S game being moved to a Saturday. Lamar hosts Sam Houston St. at 6 pm the same day.

I hate it too. My wife informed me of that situiation after I told her about me possibly doing the game.

    • A few Board of Regents agree for sure. Some administrative changes were based in large part on those moves.  Sam Houston is the only one this remotely did any service and of course they moved on as well.
    • The greatest point on all of this, and exactly what makes it a great day in SE Texas is the commercials are over!!!!  Phelan wasn’t all bad, Covey wasn’t all bad, but by the end of it I would have voted for Brewster’s “None of the above!”  Politicians serve their own interests and everyone’s politician is bad (except for theirs of course).  I personally am for: 1) Higher fuel prices, 2) More taxes and restrictions on private property owners, 3) Cancelling student-loan and even credit card debt, 4) Covid restrictions (bring back masks) 5) Giving more tax money away to countries at war (except Israel), 6) Tearing apart the nuclear family 7) Supporting college kids to protest anything and everything they want with no consequences, 😎 Higher and higher food prices 😎  Go Biden/Harris - just MASA (Make America Soft Again), Beto for a high-cabinet spot.
    • Thanks for the info, I didn't check the primary vote count.  I was posing that, based on anecdotal evidence, many who did not vote in the primary showed up for the runoff, and apparently voted for Phelan.  My next door neighbors were two that voted runoff only and voted for Covey, so it went both ways I guess.   The Houston Chronicle posted quotes from Covey accusing many Dems of voting in the runoff.  Obviously if they were able to vote in the runoff then they didn't vote in the primary, unless the voted in the Rep primary to begin with of course. .  "Covey’s campaign released a lengthy statement after the results came in, calling Phelan an “Austin swamp creature and King of the Democrats.” The campaign accused Phelan of courting Democrat voters in Jefferson County to bolster his early vote numbers, but Covey did not say he would seek a recount." Anyway, it looks like it's a done deal, until November.
    • WooHoo, the RANGERS win today 6-1 and win the series with arizona. 1st series win in the last 6. Maybe things are starting to change!!!
    • That is what I thought but I figured you folks would be able to find it for sure. Was a little tougher back then with fewer teams in the playoffs.
