What made me mad was Trueblue and his son standing on the wall and his son clapping and cheering when Devin Brey fouled out!! Cmon have some class and dont be mad because Kountze and New Waverly shut yall down
WOW I have not been on here in over 3 weeks and you are still talking about me and my son. There is no secret that there is no love lost between the two kids. In both games there was trash talking from both of them, so yea he was glad to see him foul out. The fact that that was the game were he shot Deven the finger, and the EC coach felt that he should be suspended for the rest of the dist. games. But wanted him to still play the playoffs, I told him if he felt that way I would make him set out the rest of the year. But he is not hiding behind this screen. He stood right out on the side line and let you all know how he felt. If that made you so mad all you had to do is  grow some balls and walk over and say something.  I am also glad to see you all letting me knowing that we are moving. And were we are going, maybe you could tell me were to buy someland at. And maybe were my next job is going to be at, the one I am on now at the beach is ending in about 6 months.

LOL you dont want me to walk up to him haha it aint what you or him want bud lets just drop this.

What do you mean "show some class"? Can't Trueblue and his son cheer for whoever they want to?
Good point, and the answer is: "apparently not", at least as far as some here on this board is concerned. MY opinion is if the dude paid to get in, he can cheer for whoever he wants.

The bashing of this kid (and his dad) ought to stop, IMHO. Its against the rules, theoretically.

Why is it that everytime Me or my son are attacked that is OK but If I respond or defend Him or me that post is deleted? I did not start this, just responded to a cowards post  If anyone wants to say anything to me or my son , dont be a coward and hide behind this screen. Like someone has said if I pay my money I can cheer for who ever I want. Right out In Front Of Everyone. Not Hiding behind this screen and attacking a kid.

I just wish TB & son would be treated with the same courtesy that everyone deserves here. He is exactly right, TB & son are definitely held to a different standard, can't even catch a break.

FWIW, I would LOVE to see them as HJ player & Dad. Betcha' a gazillion dollars a certain person in the forum would guard and protect them endlessly. Go figure.

One last thought here. More than once I saw some (certainly not all) Kountze people loudly cheer against EC teams in the playoffs. No one (as far as I can recall) whined or complained about it. Think about it.

That's the part I don't understand. These kids play against each other so long it looks like they would support each other once a club is eliminated. One of the most important lessons you learn from high school sports should be to respect your opponent no matter how bad you want to beat them.
Look at it this way Kountze did not knock EC out of the playoffs. But NW did, so it look better if the team that beat you goes on to win State. at least then you can say you got beat by the Statechamps
That's the difference in changing schools so often, you never develope the rivalry or the respect for the other teams and players in your district.I wish your son the best of luck in his senior season but it is extremely tough to change schools 3 years in a row and be successful at any of them.

I hear Trueblue"s son has already been flapping his gums about starting at H-J and giving his imput about who will play where and so on. Bad way to start off with team mates saying they suck!
As a HJ fan let me just say this............he is NOT going to be at HJ and if he were it would be to go to school only!!!!  I can think of 3-4 kids that would have a chance to start before he would!!!  Besides it is unlikely that EC would even release him if he moved to his THIRD school in THREE years!!!  That does not sound or look fishy at all!!!  Best if he just stay where he is and learn to play and control his emotions!!!

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
