[/quote]To pad the stats ;) But this streak could come to a end this Fridaynight if Kountze comes to EC and turns the ball over 38 times like they did Tuesday.

I would assume they had an "OPEN" date in the district schedule AAW.  ::) It's getting pretty close to playoff time and I'm sure Joubert wants to keep the guys going without missing a beat. You can't simulate a 'game-time' situations at practice ya know.

The question wasn't about playing a game, but why against Legacy?

Kelly and Big Sandy along with some teams north and west of us are available on that date that would have been a much better preperation for Kountze.

AAW, do either of us know if either of the teams you listed were contacted? For all we know they could have declined an invitation to play. If Joubert needed a game, he needed a game, point blank.

Well, I can tell you this much, I have seen Legacy, Kelly and Big Sandy this season and yes you are right, Kountze would blow out all of these teams. But I do know that Kelly and Big Sandy would be much better games for Kountze than the Legacy game. Silsbee beat Legacy in the Big Sandy tourney 125-54.

But like it was mentioned, maybe Legacy was the only team to agree to play. We'll never know. ;) ::)

Well, I can tell you this much, I have seen Legacy, Kelly and Big Sandy this season and yes you are right, Kountze would blow out all of these teams. In this case I am going to have to disagree with you.  Kountze couldve played a red team vs white team scrimmage or a shirts vs skins yesterday in practice, called their own fouls, heck, even played make it take it if they wanted to and it would've been more competitive and more "game like" than whatever you wanna call that against Legacy...
