Nunez from MHS, he's perfect on extra points this season. ( we all know one point is all you need to win) ;)
And he doubles as the punter.He kept north shore pinned in its own territory all night.

Kris Brown..........kicked a 50 yarder yesterday to win the game.

Maybe not the best just yet but the freshman Bronco kicker Juan Carranco is as sure as the good snap.4 years to watch him follow in the footsteps of his other 2 brothers who were all district kickers several years at Dayton.

The kid from Kingwood Park has a massive leg and is pretty accurate in warm-ups.  Didn't get to see him much in the actual game but I'd put him up there with anyone.  Trying to figure out why he's not 11 for 11 on touchbacks.  He put every kickoff through the goalposts when I saw him.

I'd have to put my money on that RollinAC...he was pretty accurate from all distances hitting the snapper in the snapper.....

I would have to say Trahan from Nederland. I watched this kid kick 3- 59 yarders in warm-ups before the PN-G game. I mean this kid has a leg!!!!

no he is a sophmore and has not missed all year extra points or field goals.  carthage blocked one friday but it was a bad snap.  I would like to see his stats..

he may not be the best in the area but wos has a dang good jr kicker/punter on the jv team who will be moving up soon  ;) ;) ;) ;)

not only does he kick but alot of the time hes making the tackle!

How many of these kicker's play other positions? That is, practice and play some position other than kicker during the game? Or do they just kick all practice?

A year ago I would have put Kountze's kicker/punter in this topic. He has had a lot of punting time this year, and has done well. He is either losing interest or they are not practicing kicking.
I would have to give my nod to Trahan at this point.

Billy Joe Schumacher kicked a 66 yard field goal in Panhandle South vs. West Lavaca last weekend ( 6 man game )..in that one game he kicked a 66,63,61,57,and 57 yarders to put him perfect on the season. They are sayin Billy Joe may go pro- right outta high school...as a matter of fact there has been talk that he may for-go the rest of his senior year..get his GED and be kickin in the NFL in 3 more weeks.

of course they arent in our area..in the panhandle region...my uncle watched him kick three weeks ago and said he actually lines up to kick with his back away from the ball and does some weird spin thing when he kicks...he also kicks barefooted...guy is a lock in on All-American in both football and bull ridin in the high school rodeo association.
