I hear the Silsbee 8th grade is loaded!

7th grade

WOS- 22

Jasper- 0

That's an understatement, Gas. This is a fine a group as I have ever seen come through Silsbee. This team has it all. Size, speed, very skilled, and very agressive. They love to hit, no arm tackling. I ran the clock tonight for their game against Newton, Silsbee was never challenged. Running clock in second half.

Wow ..64 points in a 8yh grade game is very impressive

Different story for the 8th graders though.  EC dominated most of the game.

It was a good game.  EC's 8th grade boys played awesome the first quarter... I believe the score was 20 to 0 at the end of the 1st or very early in the 2nd.  HJ played well though and have some definite speed!  They came on strong but the Buc boys held on and continued to score.  I was very proud of them!

      It has been frustrating seeing the lack of coverage from virtually EVERY media outlet.  We (Chester) are in the SE Texas coverage area.  There are no radio broadcast from our area, and Ch 12 is the only one that has even mentioned it.   I know I could have gotten donations to cover a SETX Sports broadcast.  Oh well, water under the bridge - we aren’t as big as Silsbee, WO-S or PN-G.
