According to UIL rules because the game didn"t go to 5 innings the game will be restarted , unless our district adopted a different rule which apparently they did not.

I would like to see the two coaches agree to pick up where we left off--no sense in replaying a tie game anyway and maybe both teams could get their pitchers some rest for possible post season action

The Tuesday games must have been moved to Monday because the original schedules I received had them playing tuesday

The original game on Tues. was moved to Mon. at 5 pm because of TAKS testing.

Now I'm hearing that the Dayton game is being pushed back to Wednesday. Anyone know if this is true, and if so what would allow that to happen? I thought you had to play on the next available day by UIL rules. ??? ???

Dayton has had 3 rain outs this year.  Every rain out has caused us to play games CLOSER to one another than the original Tuesday/Friday rotation.

What happens if the Dayton field isn't ready for Thursday's game? I here it takes it several days to dry out. I know we've gotten a bunch of rain here and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. I believe the district games have to be completed by Saturday evening and you guys already have games on Friday and Saturday.

I think we have until Monday night at the very latest to get the last game played---if this keeps up I don't know the rule
