My son told me he is just concentrating on school @ Lamar. Alex is a very smart kid. I know at one point he was as high as number 2 in his class.
He left Lamar and is now going to Lee. I heard their were to many goons strolling the halls at Lamar, he plans on attending UTSA this coming fall.

Once again as in 19-4A it will be KParks district to lose.
New Caney's sophomore and freshman classes are being split.  Don't think any varsity players will be leaving New Caney. Any details as to why it will be KParks district to lose?
BH and KP were co district champs but KPark is coming back with all their players and BH is coming back with 1 returning starter.
3. From what I understand Bounds is still going to pitch, that is why he has not had surgery.
4. BH has played more playoff games than this whole district has had regular district games combined
5. I can chaperone ;D Kevin I don't know if I could trust you.
6. Does anyone know anything about Richland in Dallas,or Galveston
7. My son is thinking about playing Ball there and was just wondering about the school and baseball program.

9. go TO Houston 5a Baseball there will be allstar games at Rice in June Thanks for the help Mustang.
10. Win or lose, Rice will be open. They do not host a Super Regional this year. Win and they will go to Baton Rouge. Brazoswood/Pearland are playing at U of H on Thursday and Saturday. Well why weren't you here earlier? Save me a lot of trouble. LOL...My bad. Best of luck to your Dawgs. I watched Brenham beat Barbers Hill 3-2 in the one game series. Do not pitch or hit it to the ss. Kid is a beast...U of Arkansas verbal already as a soph. Brenham made 4 errors on defense. I'm leaning towards Nederland in two games. Nederland is going to spank Brenham, I was at the BH vs Brenham game and remember the ss had errors so did the outfield and the first basemen. Brenham had several errors and Barbers Hill did not make them pay. Barbers Hill only had one error and Brenham made them pay big.
11. Has anyone heard anything about a allstar team.
12. Just wanted to say congratulations to all the BH boys and everyone that was chosen. Keep up the good work.
13. Smesny pitched to Crosby on Tuesday and than BH on Friday and the week before that he pitched to GCM 130+ Pitches, man don't hurt the kid, it's just not worth it.
14. Rumor has it that if any pitch gets away from either pitcher tonight all will be ejected. And this should be so, no high school team should be allowed to hurl at each other. Especially up and in!
15. We should learn from our failures? But what did we learn? if hitting is showing to be a problem maybe we should not hit and run, especially when your best batter is at the plate with a rare runner at first, when he took off this forced your best bat to swing at pitches he would not have normally swung at "we done this twice to our best hitter" which resulted in a pop out or strike out. No momentum was gained there. Then to much junk pitching, with two strikes called outside why do we pitch inside? So they can hit it hard and that's exactly what they did and should have! The team that pitched inside will lose.....Just my opinion
16. That's a good thing for the rest of the district, because if you had Burditt and Bounds BH would be really tough. The Killer B's.
17. BH has too many kids swinging for the fences trying to win the homerun race for themselves, and that's all find and dandy when your winning. But when your losing it's time to put the personal stats on the shelf and play for the team. The coach should look to the bench for players with a higher batting average and at least give them a chance. He should start the line up with the highest batting average and trickle down to the least. I wonder what the lineup would look like then.
18. This current group of BH seniors should never be counted out, so before you poke a fork in the Fat lady understand that with some positive reinforcement and a little bit of faith these boys have the potential to beat the New York Yankees. I've heard lots of theories of what has happened to our team and I believe we have committed the cardinal sin in baseball and that happened at the Columbus Tournament Championship game which started our fall from grace. Never tell young boys they can't. If you take a young boy and tell him he is invincible, he could slay the dragon. If you beat him down with negatives he can't fight his way out of a wet paper sack and will probably never live up to his potential. Most of these parents have witnessed this phenomenon and understand we must focus on the positives .Never count us out and don't go negative in the middle of the game. The Barbers Hill slogan is We Can We Will We're Barbers Hill not We can't We Don't so lets give up Hope. And a negative environment is not our only problem, in all the years that I've known Coach B. if a kid pops up on the infield and can't remember to hustle all the way to first base even though he should be out, he should ride the short bus home and I wouldn't expect to see him get much play time if he can't grasp this fundamental idea. As they say it only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel. So we need parents to not panic and coaches to stay positive and seniors to wake up and hustle and do all the small things that are right for the team. In my personal opinion it is these small things that are the root cause of all of our problems. If we did all the small things right, we would be winning and the coaches would be happy and the parents wouldn't be in such a panic.
19. Theirs no I in team, Wouldn't it be better to list how many homeruns your team has. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.
20. I heard bh won the game 8-2 but got cleaned out in the parking lot. Fort Bend County is no place to leave anything unlocked. They stole all of their electronics but stealing the kids car keys was the really sorry part. Which maybe a hint to who the culprits are.
21. Hey BH if I hear one more thing about last years fab four I might have to create a diversion and blow my brains out.
22. What's really going to be exciting is when everyone is on and if Bay City is any indication has what they can do as a team it could get very interesting.
23. It was a good ball game. Bay City does have a good ball club. Their starting left handed pitcher Tomek is a good one. He went 6 innings giving up all 6 runs but had a great night except for a couple of mistakes to Ponder and Padgett. Once you get past Tomek their pitching does drop off considerably. They have very good hitters 1-4 but they drop off considerably after that. The BH pitching staff is deeper and the lineup is better 1-9, but Tomek seemed to even things out a little with his performance. I knew if we could hit Tomek we would be ok. Last year Tomek only gave up three hits if my memory is correct. We had a great game last night and a all around effort from the whole team. Congrats to all the BH baseball players, Job well done.
24. Do you know if Hufman won that scrimage Huffman may have something about that ;D How did Huffman do against CE King. Did not go but heard that our outfield needs some work. Heard that the hitting is pretty strong and pitching is a no brainier. Coach D Will have them ready and is the best Coach in our district in my opinion.
