sorry to be negative but Ive never liked the "new" Cardinal logo. Theres just something about it thats never grown on me.

the comment meant that i don't care what the helmet looks like, I am just glad the program is back...never said anything about them being 0-36

I would prefer a black helmet, red face mask and straps and the existing logo.

I'm as thrilled as everyone else that football has returned to LU, but I hate the helmet. No offense to Bridge City High fans, but I'd like the LU helmets to look much different. Right now, it's still a little hard for me to see the differences. Some other posters had some pretty cool recommendations on either reversing colors, or incorporating some blue or black. Anyway, glad football is back.

The scuff marks will probably show up too much on a black helmet and make it look too used after a game or two.

All I can say is, "WOW!!" The black helmet rocks. I'm just thinking how intimidating that would look on the D-Line if they were also wearing black goggles.
