Ernesto looks like it is making a direct line toward the upper Texas coast and since they always seem to turn one way or the other...................

Is the number on the hurricane in the Accuweather model the predicted strength of the storm? If so, we could live with a Cat 2 storm, couldn't we?

Yea..The reason it's marked cat 2 is weakening would be possible as it approaches as some dry air from the north could get sucked into it. We should know Monday late where he's headed.

Whoever gets hit by this next Thur/Fri it's going to be bad. Cat 3 or 4. The plane found the center to be a little farther east which is good as well.
