So if Newton defeats Diboll by 14 points, then Newton shouldn't have any problem beating Kirbyville.  That is how your figuring it out right?

Diboll will not even touch Newton.  Newton by 21.  Those were ridiculous comments!!!! Newton will shred them and then do the same thing to K ville.

I wouldnt say shred them. Both games will be extremly tough but i think the eagles have it in them

This is going to be a really good test for the Eagles this week.  Hopefully Newton will continue to imrove and come out on top.

I watched Kville-Diboll in week 0 and Newton-EC in week 1 so i've seen both of these teams.  I was impressed with Diboll, and despite all the penalties and turnovers they committed, they still gave Kville a good game.  I think if Diboll doesnt get off to an early bad start, it couldve been a different game.  That said, i still think Kville is a better team.  I was very impressed with Newton last week also, they beat a decent EC team handily.  I would probably make Newton a 1-2 touchdown favorite possibly, but Diboll is certainly good enough to beat Newton if they cut the mistakes and bring their A game.

Diboll is still committing too many penalties that are proving costly.  I lost count how many TD's called back, or helping other teams gain first downs after committing a penalty.  Week 0 they had 14 penalties for over 100 yards.  Maybe they will gather themselves, as they will play home for the first time this season.

Newton is notorious for early season sloppiness.  I think it will be a good game.  I'll be surprised if it is not close.
