FINAL — Huffman 42 at Vidor 70 — Discussion

Worried about respect on a sports board but got 70 dropped on em......gonna be a fun week of practice next week over at Huffy.

Huffman knew they were gonna get 70 dropped on them. They were just hoping they could score 71. Vidor got a few stops. Huffman got 1. Such a joke.Vidor did a good job of stunts and mixing up the defensive fronts. They did exactly what they needed to do.

Huffman on the other hand is exactly what I said they were. TERRIBLE on defense. All these kids talking about Huffman's "5 man front" lol. GTFOH with that. 

I'll say it again. This district is terrible. LCM and Vidor are okay this year (LCM was better last year), but everyone else is really down. Lucky for them they catch ACTUAL HISD schools in round 1. After that, well it's basketball season.

Don’t know what the total rushing yards was for the Pirates but we did manage to squeeze in 1 pass play. 😁

IDK, I tend to think LCM is maybe better this year.  The quarterback is passing about 1000 yards, rushing for over 500 yards, the freshman and sophomore running backs having nearly 1000 yards rushing together and their freshman wide receiver having a decent year.   With that said, the OL is better and is able to protect the QB and running game.  Yes, they are missing several key players from last year Offense, but they have done really well this year. Just an opinion, means nothing till playoffs.

Agree. Think LCM is better than last year. Took them a few games to find their rhythm but theyve played good ball except for the Huffman game. (Ik injuries played a part in that one) 

Yall wanna do us a favor and have 1 more bad game before play offs? You know.. get it out of yall system so yall can make a run…🥹

District championship is cool and all. But let's face facts. Not much more than a glorified participation trophy in this district. Playoff wins matter more IMO. That wouldve been crazy work if bc missed playoffs with a bye week last game of season. 🤣

If lcm and vidor lose the next 2. Certainly not out of any realm. It will be extremely interesting.

 

After BCs shenanigans last year. I will be highly highly surprised if they win that one. Even more surprised lcm didnt make that their homecoming game..Wouldn't be surprised if Lumberton sneaks lcm again. Its still alive realistically

Yeah realistically but i just dont see vidor and lcm losing out😂

I think BC has a better chance of sneaking up on LCM than lumberton does, but idk what the feelings behind those games are for those schools. So not sure if theres extra motivation you know?

BC has kinda figured out an offense somewhat is my only thinking that they may give yall a game, granted against weaker defenses but theyve made some improvements after getting shellacked by Vidors defense
