WOSdrummer99 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Bee Gees take the L train back to Hardin County. Im interested in seeing progress of SO qb since the LCM scrimmage. Did they get back to full strength or do they still have some injured players out? Quote

Matthews is 51-80 (64%) for 691 yards, 14 TD's, 0 INT's on the season. Three of the 6 games played he never attempted a pass in the 2nd half. This last game vs. Jasper he was 8-9 for 156 yards and 3 TD's all in the 1st half. In the Worthing game he only attempted 11 passes, completing 8 (all in 1st half) and in Bridge City game he only attempted 14 passes, completing 8 (all but one of those attempts were in 1st half). Silsbee is still missing a starting LB (broken collar bone) and a starting RB/Safety (ACL). Both are very significant losses. Boogy1000 1 Quote

I dont think Silsbee defense can hold Jefferson under 200 yards. I do think Silsbee offense will move the ball on WOS. Quote

Maxpreps, which matches the stats above shows only 1 rushing TD. Possibly hasnt been needed in that role Quote

Last year Silsbee QB Johnson was much more of a threat running the ball. He rushed for over a 1000 yards last year. (passed for 1200 as well) Silsbee runs the ball with about 6 different backs. (5 now that one is out with ACL) Run mostly out of I and tandem. They will go shotgun some. Basically 50/50 between those formations unless Silsbee has a big lead then it's all I formation. Quote
