Good wins against two not-so-great teams. So, what kind of strategy is it to leave all your starters in until you're up by 40+ POINTS before mixing in 2nd/3rd stringers? That's a recipe to get a starter hurt, especially when you're in the running for playoffs. You leave your star RBs and starting defensive players in? Is Nederland trying to make a statement or something?  All the crowd praises the coach when winning, but if a starter got hurt unnecessarily I'm pretty sure they'd turn. Just idiotic if you ask me. There's plenty of 2nd/rd stringers who could've still done well against that team.

So asking a legit question about coaching tactics is a pessimist?

Not necessarily.

You just have to know about this particular members posts and you will see what I am talking about.

I didn't watch the game. We're starters playing in the 3rd or 4th qtrs?

Just for comparison, for the past several years anyway, in runaway games,  C.Joseph left starters in the first half regardless of score.  But 2nd half most if not all starters sit out, and the bench gets emptied.  If the opposition makes too big of a comeback, or perhaps on a critical play, a few appropriate starters may get back on the field.

Starters pretty much stayed in until mid 4th qtr, up by like 40 points.
