Heart says Deweyville if I'm betting on this game Hemphill.

 

Deweyville overall is young. They have solid pieces on both sides of the ball and glaring weaknesses that must be addressed or it could be a long season ahead.

I mentioned this in another post but the new Hemphill head coach really held his guys accountable. I only saw what was put out on social media so I can only imagine how the in person meetings went. 

For someone to come in to a program that is at rock bottom and get a week 1 win against a potential playoff team speaks volumes.

I will be there to support the Pirates and hope the right moves are made during the week to improve the team for Friday night.

Hemphill should win this one and several more with this non-district schedule. Pile up those wins now. That district is mighty tough.
 
Next week is The Pine Cone Bowl which will be the Hornets first real test .
