I'm impressed with EC's speed and toughness. They seemed to do whatever they wanted in the run/screen game and we couldn't stop it, but we tightened up in the last 5 minutes or so. The coaches have their work cut out for them. That's for sure.

I know they are all legit, but were the transfers  to EC a factor in tonight's game?

Cannon, Hollywood, Showtime all played well but Mighty Mouse was the difference maker.

I’d say so. I’d also say EC still wins though. You already had a solid senior group and some underclassmen who could play well like Hale. 

thought the mix of Fontenot and Wells at QB was very good for the game. Fontenot got 2 TDs on the ground first half.. moved him around a ton. Wells has zip and can make some good throws. 

defense looked good. Had some underclassmen who stepped up. Might need to see how they look against a team who passes more. 
 

Ceasar, most slept on RB in the area. That reception for TD in the 3rd was electric.

For Jasper I think cleaning up the snaps (had maybe 6 bad ones that hurt or knocked them back on 3rd downs)

passing game I think might take a second, but Clark is a solid RB. Got some size at WR.. #7 looked like he was 6’3. New offense.. let’s see how they look around district.
