Legendary Coach Wise at Yates HS Expected to Step Aside

Jim Hicks and RCS Sports reported today that Coach Wise is expected to step aside as boys head coach. It is also expected that assistant coach Eddie Barlow will be the next HC at Yates HS pending approval. Coach Wise is currently the 2nd winningest coach in the Houston Area with 1009 career wins.

Hope Coach Barlow gets the job, were college teammates and that's home for him. Good luck !!!

I mean this as a compliment not an insult, but I thought they won more than 4 state titles. Their peak was so good that it felt like so much more than 4.

Actually, they only won 2 on the court. Those last two were due to Dallas Madison having to forfeit those titles.
