It’s not a jab at anyone. If Cop A knows that Cop B is dirty, but won’t say anything… in fact, defends the Cop B’s illegal behavior because “he’s one of us”…. They’re both bad cops, right?

 It’s what I’ve been saying all along (for the last two months). A person can’t be a Christian and condone someone’s continued evil, immoral acts. They’re simply not a Christian anymore.  If non-racist tolerates someone’s ongoing racist behavior “because he’s a little rough around the edges,” guess what… that person who believed themself to be non-racist is in fact, as racist as the guy hurling the n-bombs. 
 

People vote for all kinds of different reasons. Some good, some bad… but when a politician makes it clear that they have no integrity by their personal life, words, actions, etc… but they’re still worshipped by a group of people who justify or overlook any illegal or bad behaviors… those followers have no integrity, either.

Here’s the thing CB. You hate Trump and we get that. You are a never ending argument from the time you wake up. It really gets tiresome trying to discuss anything with you and you probably chalk that up as a win.

We were talking about Trump pardoning Flynn after Flynn pleaded guilty to a crime.. then pardoning Flynn, then paying Flynn a bonus for doing the crime.  Which led to discussions about the blanket j6 pardons for crimes the we all witnessed, then into Trump’s pay-for-play pardon racket and how it hurts the victims of the fraudsters who buy pardons from Trump. And the same people were defending all of it.

I gave up when he lost the argument about ‘better’ Real ID’s having an effect on voter security in New York, Minnesota, and Vermont. He apparently wasn’t smart enough to check and see that voter ID isn’t required in those States, so having an Enhanced Real ID made no difference at all.

Sort of like the argument he used to call out folks who believed in things they can’t see or prove (ie voter fraud), but he then talks about attending church services.

Of course, I guess it’s entirely possible he’s seen and scientifically proven God’s existence. Me, I tend to have to go on faith.

Of course he has 100% MAGA support… they’re the ones that don’t mind his raping/lying/corruption.  They’re the ones who believe Trump does no wrong, is the smartest man who ever lived, his fecal matter has no odor, and that he is also the true messiah. I’ve seen postings by many of them on other boards, but there definitely aren’t any of those types posting here.  
 

The problem for MAGA that the aren’t nearly as many of them as they believe. Basically put, those voters are about equal in number to the ones who still approve of his performance and always will… they represent just over 30% of all voters. And everybody else is sick of his mess. Trump is in a bad spot at home.
