I’ve never called you a name. Thanks for the attack. Whine and attack. Isn’t that considered trolling?

I didn’t call you a name, I posted a meme.

I voted for him,  I have the right to complain. Sorry that hurts your feelings.

$3.20 @ Sam’s today. Went to Houston and saw a range from $3.22 - $3.99. The $3.99 was by the Medical Center not far from M.D. Anderson.

Why we have to suffer with a global price for crude is beyond me. We import around 8% from the Middle East. That global price should affect the major importers….

Google search:

  • China and India: Together receive roughly 44% of all crude exports moving out of the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz. China alone sources about 5.4 million barrels per day (bpd) from the Middle East. [

  • East and Southeast Asia: Economies like Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and the Philippines rely heavily on the region, with Middle Eastern imports making up between 70% and 95% of their total foreign oil intake. [

  • Other Global Importers: Western nations buy significantly less by comparison; for example, Middle Eastern suppliers account for roughly 8% of total U.S. crude imports and an even smaller fraction of direct European Union imports

I was in Lake Charles this weekend for a horse show. I was attending my future ex-wife's horse show😒

Gas is about 25-30 cents more there than Port Arthur/Beaumont

Yep, you are right. I go to Lake Charles once a month to take care of a customer. Eating out over there seems to be little bit more expensive too.

I love Lake Charles!!! More specifically, the poker room, Lillies and Vic and Anthony's at the Nugget.

Mississippi Stud table ain't bad too.

Believe it's time for me to stay a few days. Need to contact my host.

Go to Darrell’s across from the casinos off the loop and get the Darrell Special. Best sandwich you will ever eat!

I'm seeing someone over there and been spending a little time there. Besides the casino's, their nightlife and live music scene is really cool.

If you like seafood, I was really impressed with the food and service at Pat's of Henderson.  It is rare these days to get the type of service we received. As an example, on our way out, my date asked where the restrooms were, the host at the front door walked her to the restroom entrance instead of pointing.  The food was really good, even the gumbo (and I am a gumbo snob lol)

My son ate there and had that sandwich. He said the same thing. I’m gonna have to go.
