The 31st MEU, permanently deployed to Japan and operating in INDO-PACOM, is being ordered to head to the Middle East aboard three U.S. Navy amphibious ships offering land, air and amphibious assets.

The White House has not ruled out ground troops, to say otherwise is wrong.

Just curious how is the oppressive Iranian regime going to be rooted out without ground troops and second question is who’s going to lead the charge for the good Iranian people to takeover?

They went to the extent to let us know 2,500 marines were coming from Japan to the Middle East to be used as  LAND, air and amphibious assets. 
 

Our government leaders should always be questioned. It amazes me the length Trump folks go to defend every single thing he does.

Just filled up today at $3.19 compared to $1.99 just about 6 weeks ago which will cost me about $300 more dollars a month to keep gas in 3 vehicles along with the increase of goods and services to follow so yeah I am questioning this move.

No, the definition does not change daily, media reports it and twist words….

Like the military didn’t think Iran would try and block the Strait……

If my Son or Step daughter wanted to join the military, it would have been discussed in great detail the pro’s and con’s. Being deployed to a battle would have been the first subject in that discussion.  They would have known the risk and I would support them. I wouldn’t like it but I would support them.
