Powell played politics. He lowered interest rates in 2024 right before the election to help the Democratic candidate. He won’t lower them now when he should. So, yes, Powell has been a disaster. That’s why he’ll be gone! What did Kelly do? Quote

He also did not side with Putin over his own intelligence agency. He has not attempted to rebrandish several high profile U.S. landmarks, federal sited and infrastructure projects with his name. Just to name a small fraction. Lastly, no heath plan and he promised not to touch medicare. Epstein will be his self inflicted down fall. So you’re grading biden based on what he didn’t do, as compared to Trump? lol, it’s all about Trump, but you’re not alone. thetragichippy 1 Quote

(Note, the economy is actually not a core POTUS function.) Border Security National Security (Flew under the radar, but put enough pressure on Panama that the Panamanian Govt. took the Panama Canal away from China last week. VERY big deal.) Bringing key needs (pharma, chipmakers, rare earth mineral development) back to the U.S. Deregulation My grade will definitely drop if we enter a prolonged conflict in the Middle East. I didn't vote for the man. He can also do some really idiotic stuff, and I don't care for him as a man--from what I can see/hear/watch. But, strictly based on policy, there's no debate between him and the Democrats. There are no moderate Democrats left. If they say they are, they're either lying, or they have no real input anyway. The Socialists run the Democratic Party now. I want less government--not more. I really wish an independent, or libertarian candidate could get some traction. But, getting them on the ballot in all 50 States, getting them access to all the Intelligence and other reports/updates the 2 major Party candidates receive, equal funding & debate time is blocked by both major Parties as of now. If you were to put a ticket together who would be at the top and who would be the running mate? Just curious. Same question to all! Quote

Same question to all! I wouldn’t have any major issues with a Rubio/Paul ticket. Sort of a complementary ticket of strength & global experience along with restraint of government & civil liberties. If they’d work together well, it could be a very good pairing for the country. Quote

He was the original ‘Freedom Caucus.’ He’d make me laugh because he was so cheap, he’d take the flight from DC to Cleveland red eye, and back to Houston and fly coach. Cracked me up. We had many good conversations on late night flights, and got to where we’d sit next to each other just to catch up. He’d always say, “Remember to vote for me”, and I’d laugh and say “I can’t. La Porte isn’t in your district.” Quote
