Yates will go Division 1 while LaMarque will be Division 2, just like last year. Quote

I don't like it at all. Takes a round away from the playoffs, no regional tournaments and no semifinals at state tourney. Quote

Been to the state basketball tourney twice over the years and had way more fun than the football state championship games and I’m way more of a football guy than basketball. I’m sure last year lost some what of a spark at state than years past…due to the new format. Quote

Probably will not make it again this year. But I'll probably get back there one or two more times before I give it up entirely. Take my grandsons. Be a PawPaw and not a media guy. Quote
