baddog Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Comfortable would describe me also. No need for me to brag. Who is there to impress? I believe that everyone receiving SNAP, welfare, and Section 8 housing should reapply and be reevaluated every 2 years. I’m sure lots of these claims are for children who have out grown the benefits. The cradle to grave industry has to stop. This shutdown has shown just how many people the government controls. Sad, ain’t it? I raised my family. No one else did. Reagan and mat 2 Quote

thetragichippy Posted 3 hours ago Author Report Posted 3 hours ago Snap Benefits in Texas I did a little math. A family of 2 can have a max income of $2909 a month…..which equates to $16.78 an hour if only one works. They would be eligible for $546 dollars per month of snap benefits with no kids….. Now family of 4, say 2 kids - same thing, one works, they can make $4421 a month, which is $25.51 hour….and then receive $994 in snap benefits a month….. Incentive to work or not to work? Quote
