We’ll see where they wind up. People also assume LP is gonna lose to Angleton. They forget LP is the team that hasn’t lost a district game in over 2 years, has better O & D numbers than last year, is more balanced, and has actually played PO teams & teams with winning records. Angleton’s opponents to this point are 21-45, and none have a winning record.

LP’s numbers all around are better than last year, even though they’ve had some mental lapses. Similar to last year, Angleton’s numbers are better. But, they lost to LP in district last year in a game that wasn’t as close as the final score, and had to have miracle comebacks in every PO game I remember to get to the rematch with LP while LP doubled up—at least—on everyone in the PO’s until letting Angleton come back on them in the rematch.

The Angleton/LP tilt Friday was a toss-up to me before injuries. Now, I have no idea because I don’t know what to expect. I have no idea what Angleton team we’ll be seeing.

Someone on the 5A forum just asked who my final 4 were. I said Aledo, Lone Star, PAM and Smithson Valley. Toughest pick was yall or La Porte.

PAM’s best team since 2011? Oh, the payback possibilities for taking advantage of a beat up LP who had just been in a war with Katy that LP only won because it was windy on the Katy possessions.

I know y'all don't care right away like we do because 9-5A basically has a bye first round, but Pflugerville Weiss lost to College Station. They may wind up facing LP first round.

Also, if we both are lucky/good enough to make it that far, PA and LP wouldn't meet until the R3 Finals as I kind of expected. The upcoming game between Angleton & Crosby is gonna' be something to see. Angleton still has talent. But, Crosby is more balanced this year, Robison is throwing pretty well, and they have a legitimate shot at the 2 seed.

I watched the 4th quarter of that game. College Station has turned their season around. Weiss will lose to La Porte IMO.

District two: Tascosa vs Amarillo play for 2nd and 3rd. Amarillo Caprock vs Lubbock Monterey is basically a playoff game. Winner makes the tournament and loser ends the season!

District six: North Mesquite beat Dallas White this week to basically secure a playoff spot.

District seven: I think Joshua vs Burleson Centennial is for a playoff spot! Which for those that dont know who Joshua is (most of yall), that is awesome! They have struggled for decades. They last made the playoffs in 1996.

District nine: Beaumont United, WestBrook, and Sterling are all 2-3. All fighting for the final spot

District twelve: CS beat Weiss and they swapped. However the first round matchups might stay the same because La Porte beat Angleton lol.

District fourteen: Southwest Legacy with a brutal loss to (4-5) South San Antonio and now will miss the playoffs!

District fifteen: Vets vs Flour Bluff should be for 2nd and 3rd. Harlingen South vs Weslaco East next week will be for a playoff spot!

Crosby vs Angleton is a toss-up to me right now. Crosby may sneak into the 2 seed in 11-5A.

Dunno. They wore them with the white traveling jerseys against KP also. Nice change up. So, they have solid orange top & pants, solid white top & pants, and the black pants that can be worn with either top. Multiple combinations of orange white/orange black/orange orange, etc.

Just wish they’d all wear similar shoes. The shoes are all over the map. 😂

Like yall we have all kinds of combinations. Orange, black and white pants and jerseys. However, these are my favorites for home and away!
