purple reign Posted October 13 Report Posted October 13 Angleton (6-0, 3-0) will be on the road Thurday night against Kingwood Park (3-3,1-2). They have played 4 times before with Angleton winning all 4. The 1st year they played twice with Angleton beating them in Humble in non district and then again at home in bi-district. They played pretty well in the 1st quarter at Crosby, but couldn't keep it up, losing 52-7. Once again, their defense seemed to give way like in some other games they have played. They have a tall QB named Pavlotos and a small RB Wolocko. The game will be streamed on Texan Live. Quote

The battle for the 4 seed is going to be interesting, and may come down to the final week of district. I'm beginning to think Porter may sneak in if they get past Friendswood next week. Not sure anyone--outside of Spartan fans--thought that preseason. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted October 14 Report Posted October 14 DCTF has Angleton as a 39 point favorite. Quote
purple reign Posted October 16 Author Report Posted October 16 Tonight's the night for this matchup. Safe travels to everyone and I hope there's no injuries. Angleton can not afford to lose their starting QB, as the 2nd guy, Gardner, I hear is out for the season. He was also the holder for XP's and field goals. K-Parks normal method of operation is to pass a lot and I suspect we'll see a lot of that tonight. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 16 Report Posted October 16 I'll tune in to this one. Hopefully it's an injury-free game. Quote
